Located about 16 km from Banswara, the view only can seen during the rainy season
Timing to visit this dam is really important. If you visit it in the monsoons, it's gorgeous. However we visited it in the month of January and it was all barren. So it did not turn out to be as exciting as we had hoped it to be.
However if you are up for some effort, you can climb up 150 stairs and reach to the top to get an amazing view of the dam itself. That is really a good view and worth all the effort.
There is nothing much to see here. All in all it can be a short visit if you want to be here to see the dam. Plan in the monsoons and you will be charmed.
