Everything is good. The owner was very friendly and can help you with your queries. They even offered complementary water (normally hotels provide only 1lts bottle) here they have given as many times as I asked. They also offered me complementary lunch (which was very tasty) as I had a afternoon flight. Rooms are huge with a living area. they do not have a restaurant so you need to order your dinners. But that is not an issue as swiggy is easily available. It's all also located centrally near to cafes and the kangla fort.
A jewel of a homestay run my Mrs Chan and her son. She accommodated our requests for home cooked food and we had a couple of delicious meals made by her staff. The place is excellently furnished and the location is great for all the sight seeing in Imphal.
We stayed there as a group of friends. The property is so beautiful you will fall in love with the cozy rooms and the garden where you can spend your mornings and evenings. You can take loads of photos. The location is quite safe, although they lock one of the gates to the neighbourhood after 5pm and the hosts did not inform us about it. Breakfast is complimentary only if you don't book through airbnb. But it's only bread and eggs. There was Wi-Fi.
Overall we liked the place, only thing is we were unhappy with some miscommunications.
It's a lovely place to stay, beautifully and modern designed inside, spacious and super clean. There is a bedroom and a full kitchen. There is also a garden at the porch where you can sit in the heart of the host's lovely plant collection. She really has a green thumb, it's a little paradise in the middle of Imphal, so quiet and safe and yet only few walking minutes away from the central bus stop and a main shopping area. The host ist just wonderful and the food healthy, organic and absolutely delicious.
It was a home stay away from home as far as Kohima , an assuring statement that it is worth the price.a lovely experience on my first trip to Imphal. It is located at a walkable distance to the main transport station of public cars. What i loved the most was the greeneries, fresh breeze, clean environment and a tiny cute fishing pond. Also not to forget the tiny self cooking kitchen that comes with it. The house owners are quite friendly and the breakfast served was also more than satisfactory. I would love to visit again.
My family had a very comfortable stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and tidy.
We will definitely stay there again should we make a trip to Imphal again.

One of the best homestays in imphal with great service rendered by Mr. Kray and his mother....they have done the outdoors greatly with beautiful plants and a small reservoir made by collecting rainwater...they are very warm and hospitable people...
Staying at Magen was a wonderful experience! The hosts were very kind, accommodative and welcoming and the place is a stunning, warm abode in Imphal. Extremely clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway in Imphal!
