Maa Tripura Sundri Temple - Hindu temple in Patan, Umrai - Banswara, India

Very beautiful and eye catching mata ji statue in the temple. The temple is very neat and clean and its environment is also silent. You can feel good visiting over here with your family. No sweet shop outside the temple so you need to take it from talwada.

Beautiful, spiritual and awesome place to visit with family

Oh it's one of the finest and very different hindu mandir in terms of goddess idol, 12km from Banswara, Rajasthan. It's quite unique n big. The art work on marbles is mesmerising. Whole mandir is made of different marbles as this area is belt of marbles. Nearby this mandir are mines of marble. So plenty of marble everywhere. Apart from this the mandir is around more than 800 years old. People of this n surrounding areas have extreme faith for this mandir. It's beautifully crafted over marble. The floor is again very beautifully crafted and designed over n with marble. For VIP there is a helipad behind this mandir. Big and vast parking area for vehicles. There is also a small canteen with the parking. Overall one needs at least 4 to 5 hours to fully explore this masterpiece of art work. A must visit. Best time would be October, November, March. Take a picnic tour of full day and explore nearby areas as well, they are as much beautiful as this place.

Tripura Sundari Temple is attractive and grand amidst the dense greenery of Banswara. The temple is also well equipped with all facilities like parking, security, garden and toilets. You can also take Prasad here at a reasonable price.The Tripura sundari temple is located in Matabari in a small villae of Umrai, just 5 km from Talwara village, and its 14 km from Banswara in Rajastha This temple is very ancient, but it is difficult to prove. It is said that there were three forts around the temple, Shaktipuri, Shivpuri and Vishnupuri. Due to being surrounded by all the three forts, this temple was named as Tripura Sundari. In this temple, there is an eighteen-armed black colored statue of Mother Tripura Sundari with nine small idols around it, called Nav Durga.

Beautiful temple of Maa Tripura Sundari.. There is a bhojanshala in the premises of temple where you can take bhojan thali at Rs 50/- only. Food is good. There is a little garden around 100 meters far from this temple, where you can take your home made snacks or lunch.

Once you have to visit this holy place of maa Tripura sundari, feel blessed. From banswara bypass to dungerpur road, at talwada vo to left side approx 3 km, and you arrived at temple.

Rulers of ancient Marwar, gujrat & mewar were disciples of maa tripura sundari... The recent year of renovation work has brought this temple into lime light & now its a famous religious tourist place for wagad & nearby area. The huge area is well maintained & is complete with stay, food, water, parking & other basic facilities. The temple is almost 15 km from banswara & 5 km from talwara village.
