The Mansa Devi Temple in Haridwar is a special place on a hill called Bilwa Parvat. It's a very important place for people who want to pray and connect with their faith. When I visited, I noticed how much people believed in the power of this temple. The temple itself is very beautiful, with pretty designs on the walls. Inside, there's a statue of Goddess Mansa Devi, who is believed to grant people's wishes. What makes this temple even more interesting is how you can get to it. There's a cable car system, like a small cabin that takes you up to the temple. This is great because it helps people of all ages visit the temple, and it gives you an amazing view of Haridwar and the river Ganges. The place around the temple is kept clean and neat. They have stalls where you can buy religious things, sweets, and souvenirs. The people who work at the temple are very kind and helpful. Visiting the Mansa Devi Temple was a wonderful experience. It's a mix of faith and modern convenience. I think it's a must-visit if you're looking for blessings and peace in the spiritual atmosphere of Haridwar.

I couldn't find any specific Ma Mansa idol. There is always a huge rush because the temple committee is hoarding the devotees and then realising the gate at once. There are nearly 20 idols of different Gods and Goddess and every priest is claiming their idol to be the actual Manasa idol. The security checking for Udan Khatola (ropeway) seems like the checking in an international airport. It is a total harassment to the passengers.

This is a sacred Shakti Pith, where the forehead of ma sati had fallen. People rush to this place to receive her blessings. The Mandir is on the top of the hill which can be climbed easily on foot or by ropeway. Inside mandir, is somehow congested and untidy. Idol of goddess Manasa is beautiful and mesmerizing. Wiew of river Ganges and haridwar town from hilltop is also very picturesque. We also enjoyed roadside stalls. We also helped sadhus, poor people on roadside with food and money. So many monkeys and their tiny kids amused us.
