Maa Chinmastike mandir - Hindu temple in Lerhitongri, Rajrappa - Ramgarh, India

Beautiful place for both the spiritual tourists and the nature lovers. The nature lovers might be a bit irritated in the market area in close proximity of the temple , because that area is a bit chaotic , lots of shops selling puja items , ful of dirt and mud ... But once you cross that area you will get the view of the confluence of Damodar and Bhairavi river which is locally known as Bhera river. One can avail the boat ride which goes very close to the confluence .

Maa chinmastika mandir is one of the Shakti peeth. It is located near Ramgarh Jharkhand. It's quite busy during the day The waiting time during morning time can be up to 3hrs and may be longer during special occasions like navratra. If you want to avoid the crowd the best is to visit from 2pm to 6pm.

As a result of the long queues, I have to wait around 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the queue, but after 4:30 p.m. waiting time is less than an hour. There is no concern for people bypassing queues, since no one pays attention to them so people following queues have to wait longer for worship.

Picturesque location. Visited during monsoon when it was not very crowded. I was stunned by the beauty of the statute of the deity. It was made up of Kosti stone. The temples are colorful. Don't miss to dip your feet in bhairo river.

The queue was long on a Sunday. Perhaps best time to go is after 2 or before 7. Also people do not like to follow queue, and the guards do not monitor the initial line, which was almost 2 hours waiting, so you are on your own. In the end, the darshan was full filling though, worth the 4 hour wait. Spent more than 30 seconds in actual mandir, in front of murti. Jai maa.

With blessings of Maa Chinnamasta, I visited here on 11th Feb, 2023. It is a divine place. As soon as you entre the temple, you see a divine form of maa. Its slightly dark inside and you may struggle to clearly see Maa's murti (idol). One can clearly see at least one stream of blood flowing inscription on the idol of Maa. There will be one or two priests in temple who will help you in prayer. After divine darshan, you need to break the nariyal (coconut) near a shivaling and put the water on shivaling.... After that you visi the adjacent temple where there is a huge Shivalinga, which fascinates all.... What I believe is that this might have been used for Tantrik sadhna in ancient times or earlier. But now I dont think its used for those practices. After this, there are several temples in the Temple complex which you should visit, especially temples of MahaVidyas which have their own power and divinity... There is a beautiful river flowing near the temple complex which you can enjoy a boat ride which costs Rs. 50 per head and its nice.... People get goats inside temple since Bali (sacrifice) is an important part of Maa Chinnamasta Sadhna..... and there is a place in temple where Bali is done... just fold your hands, pray and enjoy the divinity of this divine place....
