Lotus Bay View Hotel - Hotel in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

The only positive aspect about this hotel is it's close proximity to the beach. That's it. The rooms are full of roaches and bugs. I paid 18500 for 2 nights for a sea facing room. When I checked in, there were cockroaches in the bathroom and even on kid's bed. Imagine paying that kind of amount only to find bugs in your room. Please avoid this hotel at any cost. It's absolutely worthless.

Hi I have visited yesterday, I have paid per day Rs.2000/ through online booking,there is no service provided by hotel people,even they were not bothering and caring the customers who paid huge amount for one night stay, 1. No warm welcome from hotel people. 2. Although check in time 1.30 & they want us to wait another 1hr extra. 3.very rude behaviour. 4.no cleanness inside the room. 5.so many cockroach inside the room,who were checked in before the customer with free of cost. 6.Bay view means everyone can understand there is 0 view inside the room. Now u must think before u visit this Hotel. Thank you.

Worst stay ever. No proper customer service. Rooms aren't good. I booked online and the pictures showed the real opposite. Lobbies are smelly. We asked for a coffee to the room and received it after one and half hours and we were not even informed about it when we constantly kept calling. I would never stay or recommend.

This hotel is near to Rock Beach. See facing rooms are available there. Lots of issue faced for parking my car. We parked on the street. Took so much time to get a parking slot in the street itself. Management is not responsible for parking. Rooms and service were average. They need to keep the toilets clean.

The only positive about this hotel is its near beach. The hotel smells like bats. The rooms are full of cockroaches you can see them crawling on the toilet seats as well. The bed is hard as rock and bedsheets are old and lifeless. The fridge stinks and it's more a house for cockroaches. Robots are better than house staff when complained they didn't even apologised just listened to my rant with a poker face. They charged 7700 for a suit room and all I felt was my money is wasted.

These buggers are there only to loot your money. We paid 5k to book a room for a day which was exorbitant considering the quality of rooms they have. Firstly they don't have any parking available. We had to park our car some 500 m away from the hotel, then we had to drag and carry all our luggage from there to the hotel. They allotted a room which was filthy, damp, smelly and infested with cockroaches. The bed linen was used. The cupboards were not clean. Upon complaining they reluctantly gave us another room. Here, jet spray in the washroom was not functioning. In the name of toiletries, they will give you one small soap and one micro mini cheap local shampoo. Even at the time of checkout, we had to carry our luggage all the way to our car by ourselves. This hotel room is not even worth Rs 500/- a day. Don't stay here ever else you will end up having a luggage full of cockroaches and you yourself will end up having some kind of infection due to such an unhygienic atmosphere.

I would say this hotel has to improve a lot. Service is very bad. Rooms are very small as not shown in picture. Main concern is Mobile network is completely.down inside. Being in prime location hotel should really improvised.

The rooms and bathrooms were terrible here. The rooms had no ventilation. The bathroom was stinking and no windows in the bathroom. The toiletries they provided were cheap and dirty. There was no one to carry out the luggage while checking out. Overall would not recommend. The only good thing was the location of the hotel.
