Longchen Homestay - Home Stay in Dimapur - Dimapur, India

An unexpected home stay in place like Dimapur. Minimalist, peaceful, super clean, comfortable bed, clean toilet and good food. Our experience also had a different dimension as It was a place of delight for my 8 year old. He had observed many wildlife. First time he saw field of fireflies, colourful lizards and different species of birds. The bright yellow/orange paint, outside of the house attracted multiple flies, moths, katydid, grasshoppers and geckos next to safety light. What a live observation station it was for him! We enjoyed the hospitality, authentic home made food and a place with hand on my heart, enjoyed our stay here.

A beautiful guesthouse made with nature's touch. The rooms were big and every need of the person taken care of. The manager was quite helpful and polite. The food was organic and good to taste. Really loved the nature's connect. Rooms have huge balcony space and uses lots of bamboo furniture. The area is amidst the bungalow's and very near to airport. In fact I'm mornings you can see and hear flights taking off and landing.Overall it was very nice experience staying at that home stay.

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood a few miles from Dimapur airport, this cosy family run homestay is bound to calm your senses and provide a home-away-from-home feeling. The comfortable and spacious rooms are well-equipped and the accompanying outdoor seating is a perfect place to unwind over some friendly banter with a relaxing view. The homely food was a classic touch and the ample spacious in the patio and garden will satiate your mood. The silent guard dog, Sheba, sits by you awaiting to be pampered, as the moments pass by. If you're searching for solace, this is one homestay that you should definitely visit.

Away from the traffic and dust of Dimapur town and almost next to Dimapur airport. It is in a clean residential area. The rooms and bathrooms are very well designed - spacious and very warm ambience. Not your usual hotel room. Each room has large balcony overlooking an open space and a fishery pond. The two floors each have a common pantry for use by guests. They also hve a laundry room with a washing machine and it is free to use for guests. The host and hostess personally take care of all your comforts, logistics and the catering. This surely is a place to boo if you are looking for a place in Dimapur o Chumoukedima.

Peace, tranquility and great service put all together . I loved my two nights at Longchen. Annie is a lovely host. She is so passionate about her food and the place. Food Is lovely . Home cooked and delicious. It's a homestay so please do not expect buffets and unrealistic stuff. Decor has my heart. The lady has put her heart and soul.

Came down from kohima with my mother to attend a wedding. We stayed at this homestay for 2 day's though we did not get the room we wanted since it was under repair n renovation. The next best option was the COTTAGE near the fisherypond wch has a very traditional n Naga touch. Food was very simple and tatsu prepared at the family kitchen but with hot chutneys. We hope to come back and stay everytime we make a trip to Dimapur. Bathroom and sheets used were very clean. Location was good close to airport

This post has been long due. I stayed at the longchen homestay during the Horbill Festival in December 2019. Annie and her husband are extremely gracious hosts. They are a fun company to talk to. Annie loves experimenting with food and is very enthusiastic about sharing delicious things that she makes in her kitchen. The meals served our simple and delicious. The staff also is very friendly and helpful. The property is stunning and very quiet. I rented the room facing their small farm pond. The backyard is very picturesque and made for a perfect setting for morning and evening tea. The property is very safe (I stayed there as a solo traveler). I will go back there again and would also recommend it to anyone visiting Dimapur.
