Loktak lake view point - Tourist attraction in Karang, Ithing - Bishnupur, India

Tell you what, Loktak lake is somewhere in between a Sea and your homeside lake. People would say, it's less commercialized to maintain it's integrity i would say, it needs to improve itself then. Went from Imphal, the road is beautiful. There is this view point, however you can avoid going here Go directly to the boating place Although it's costly if you are not in a group. It's the only thing worth there. Water is not deep. 4-7 feet. Water is clean far away. Nearby it's marsh area and algae. Still no smell or anything. I would say it's a missed opportunity to make it a real tourist spot. Although everyone will say if you are in Imphal you should visit Loktak. The view from plane before landing is all there is to it.

A must visit destination if you happen to visit Manipur. The scenery is calm and refreshing, boat riding adds to fun experience.

Best place to visit for nature lovers like me

Wonderful experience about nature view specially at early evening means at time 3 to 4:30 / 4:45pm sunset view from boating is amazing and Boating (15min). Cool climate. Loktak lake via Moirang From Imphal = 45-50km.

Loved the place the view was just treat to eyes very beautiful

Best place to visit for nature lovers. it's a freshwater lake. You can enjoy boating, stay in boat house. It felt like I was in foreign country.
