The most used railway station to travel to distant places. The station was very clean. Many auto rickshaw and taxis' are available. Prepaid auto rickshaws also available. Is not so crowded during rainy and winters but is very crowded during vacation . Very good station and well maintained .
Station is no doubt very good, but here there is a lot of scope for improvements like cleaning, guidance, Even cleaning at outside of station. Good thing is that if your train is late or you have 1 to 12 hours waiting, you can take a room on rent. Really liked it.
Read This For A Good Trip. 1. As on today 29/06/2023; if you are planning here on the weekend or on a holiday then the taxi fare is high. We were told 300rs for taxi which is 200 on the usual days. We then went with auto which charged me 200rs for 4 people. 2. The station is not that clean, but you get lifts, escalators and everything. Not to worry about. 3. There are many eateries here. You can eat inside or outside the station HAPPY JOURNEY....!!!
One of the developed and important railway terminals in Kurla Sub-Urban,Mumbai, for long distance train. Platforms are hazzle free and clean. Elevators are also added to keep the crowd. Both waiting halls are clean and very busy during the day and night. Many Rickshaws and Taxis are available in parking. The nearest local station (TILAK NAGAR) is just 5 minutes walkable from the terminal. Be Careful If you are not traveling or you are dropping/ picking up your friends from inside the platform, buy a PLATFORM TICKET. It costs Rs.10 only for 2 hours, or you will be fined by Railway TTs.

Well organized and clean Station, A variety of Long running trains are available there for various states like , Patna , Shalimar, Madgaon, Raipur etc. But AC rooms dormitories are overpriced and Dormedory is not so clean , Otherwise it's a Good station.
New platforms were created 4-5 years back to accommodate the growing footprint, however it has already become inefficient now and it is still remains very crowded
Visited July 2021 and Nov 2023 One of biggest and cleanest railway station of maharashtra. Mumbai airport is located near it. U can get transportation system easily to anywhere from this railway .
