We have read many bad reviews regarding this place. But all those reviews proved to be false. The place is quite awesome. The environment is very lively and the owner has put soul into the place. Be it with the lounge or with the rooms. The artistry of the place is quite mesmerising so is the choice of foods. The price is within range and portions are also very generous. Staff is very cordial and humble with prompt service. We have met the owner also and she is also very humble. Overall, I will say five stars is less to rate such a beautiful place. We are proud to have chosen this place to stay

Had an amazing evening with my family and my pet at One Roof. Found this gem on Google while searching for a pet friendly restaurant in Shillong . We were welcomed and my pet was greeted and treated like a star there by smiling staff and such humble and amazing host /cafe owner. She made us all feel so special specially Cookie (my pet). Food quality was amazing. Big cheers to the chef too. Overall we had a great time and would definitely like to stay there next time . Wishing best of luck..keep shining

Love the ambience you get the most beautiful sunset view from the cafe! The Chinese food is AMAZINGLY tasty - feels super fresh, clean and very well seasoned. For Shillong people and our love for noodles - it's ! The owner and host, Tamanna, is the most welcoming & warm person and her cafe dog, Lassie, is the most adorable doggy ever!

Good decor and concept, but big issues with utilities and food hygiene We booked a room to stay after looking at online pictures. The room is exactly the same as in the pics. The decor is simple and nice, the cafe is happening and fun. Now coming to issues beneath the hood. 1. We found a cockroach in our food 2. Electric points and TV weren't working 3. Low pressure water and small capacity geyser in the bathroom 4. Room service is bad. The staff is pushy and forgetful Owners seemed genuinely concerned, polite and friendly. But the staff needs to be trained well and their system needs overhaul.

The room was aesthetically put together and the in-house cafe has a nice city view. Apart from these, there were plenty concerning issues. No power backup, the WiFi does not work, geyser wasn't functioning, the TV wasn't recharged. Lots of noise around all the time and lastly the complimentary breakfast was very poor. Considering the pricing, the amenities and service are far below the standards. Won't recommend.

The presence of the friendly resident dogs adds to the homely feel. Moreover, Living Roof is conveniently located, with easy access to the Shillong's Centre Point. Whether you're exploring Shillong's bustling markets or heading out for a nature adventure, you're never too far away. Booking was a breeze and Tamanna was very sweet to suggest us the rooms and made booking a breeze. In sum, Living Roof is a gem in Shillong, offering a perfect blend of comfort, aesthetics, and convenience. It's an ideal choice for travelers seeking a memorable stay in this beautiful part of Meghalaya.

The ambiance at the location is pleasant, although the food quality is mediocre. The burger had an excessive amount of ketchup, and the rice was overcooked while the chicken curry failed to impress. All in all, it was an average experience.

Very slow service, food is not good and expensive. Ordered light snacks and they take almost two hours !
