I underwent the 1-month residential training programme in Lighthaven. It was an absolute pleasure to train under an experienced and highly skilled Tuhon like Aditya. The kind of love, reverence and enthusiasm he has for Martial arts is evident in the way he trains and conducts classes. Also, the joy and laughter in this place are infectious, thanks to Luna(Adi's pet dog). Whether you are an absolute beginner or an experienced Martial artist, I highly recommend this place to train rigorously and develop a deeper appreciation towards Martial arts.

A beautiful martial art with a fascinating history taught by someone with a true appreciation, tenacity, curiosity and talent for it. Aditya went above and beyond to ensure that he not only taught what was relevant to the student and the martial art, but also encouraged a pragmatic and realistic approach to martial arts and self defence and rhe conditioning required for it. A very humble teacher for some astonishing accomplishments. The best part is getting to meet his doggo, Luna (who I have yet to meet but have heard is very cute). Am waiting for the day when I can find time again to do my refresher month long residency.

Aditya is the most amazing coach. I have been learning Muay Thai from him for 3 years now. He has a strong focus on getting fundamentals right. He has always pushed me, but also been mindful of when I get overwhelmed, and helped me remember to breathe. His classes feel like an incredibly safe space. He is a patient and kind teacher. More than just martial arts, I've learnt to find joy in movement from Aditya. He has always been super encouraging. Also it helps that he is BOSS at martial arts, and beside being a Tuhon in PKT, knows several forms of martial arts, and I can see how his knowledge of different forms makes him an incredible teacher. End of class HIIT torture is also made more joyful because his dog Luna gives us post class cuddles. Lighthaven is really the most lovely place to train

If you're looking for either Muay thai, BJJ or Pekiti Tirsia Kali (Filipino martial art) i would recommend Light Haven highly. Ive trained under Aditya and also watched so many others train and transform under his guidance. Aditya is a great teacher and has exceptional knowledge of martial art forms. He does not advertise very much and most students know of him through word of mouth. He hosts residential long term students, as well as morning and evening regular classes. He is exceptional with children.

Situated in a quaint and charming little village of Goa, LightHaven is an eclectic centre for one of the deadliest martial arts in the world, Pekiti Tirsia Kali. Run by one of the only two authorised PTK teachers in India, Agalon Aditya Roy, it is an authentic school for aspiring learners and practitioners. There are a variety of programmes you can choose, train with weapons, on ground and in water! Besides Kali, it also has classes in Muay Thai BJJ, and the Monani method (a mix of Kalari yoga and Pilates). The school offers residential training catering to a student's requirements as well as regular hourly classes. The premises are clean and comfortable with an open kitchen. The atmosphere is friendly and the learning, constant! There are also frequent specialised camps organised at LightHaven in collaboration with other schools and teachers from all over the world. What makes the school outstanding is the passion and commitment of its founder, Agalon Aditya. He is infinitely patient, thorough and puts his faith in every student who walks in the door. I've trained here 6 mornings a week since moving to North Goa - in Muai Thai with Adi and in the Monani Method(a pilates/yoga/isometrics fusion class) with Sherry, and I have nothing but the highest praise for Lighthaven. Each class is explosive and engaging and has honed my training in all manner of ways. There is a real family vibe amongst everyone that attends the school and we all aid in supporting and challenging one another daily. Adi and Sherry are true masters in their fields and are such a pleasure to learn from. Lighthaven is a proper gem of a martial arts schools - come along and join the family!

Great place to learn martial arts and met some awesome people here, especially our trainer Agalon Aditya. Such a nice welcoming environment and some excellent sessions that are suited for different abilities. Keep up the good work!
