We were planning for a family trip to Assam and Meghalaya from Bangalore and were looking for a good tour operator who could provide good services and came across this tour operator. My point of contact was Mr Chandan who gave me an itinerary for 7N/8D . Pros: 1) Mr chandan was flexible with the itinerary 2) A Good driver was allotted to us for the entire duration of trip 3) They did not breathe down our neck for the payment. 4) Service is good Cons: 1) Since I travelled with 2 senior citizens the Cheerapunje home stay was not up to the mark. It was freezing cold and heaters were no good. We couldn't sleep the whole night and woke up with a bad back. Mr chandan could have suggested Jiva Resorts as I had continuously told him I will be with my aged parents. Comfort of parents were of priority in this trip. Overall, the stay in Cheerapunje was disappointing. 2) A complimentary assamese lunch was told in the itinerary. But that was not delivered. 3) The itinerary could have been a little more well planned in terms of the places covered. The places of interest should be planned based on the distance between each places and time taken in each . It shouldn't be too cramped or too hectic for the family and the driver. Overall, we enjoyed the trip. A big portion of your trip will go well if you have a good driver who can prioritize the places to see before it gets dark. However good an itinerary looks it is the driver and his presence of mind which will make a big difference to ones trip. Thankfully, we had a lovely and understanding driver Mr Chand who made our trip memorable.

Horrible experience with them this year in Oct 2019.. Even after booking the package , they did not provided hotel as promised in Cherrapunjee. At the end moment changed the Hotels to HOMESTAY. Unprofessional behavior from the Manika Talukdar & Rafiq. Did not responded to phone calls while we were on streets to look out a place to spend night at. on the trip we have to book our own place to stay even after booking a package with them. Spoiled our yearly family trip. Big time liars and runners. Unethical.

Leisure travels had arranged a 5 days 4 nights package for our family to Shillong, Cherrapunji and Kaziranga National Park. The package included accommodation and transport in all the three places (including airport pick up/drop from Guwahati). Now to their review - ++ Moments 1. Comfortable stay in all the places, with breakfast. Though there was a goof up in Cherrapunji, they acted on the situation and had allotted a good and comfortable stay for us quite quickly. 2. Customization was allowed liberally on the package - we were a family of 8 (2 young couples, 1 senior citizen couple and 2 kids) so we wanted to include things that would entertain everybody. Mr. Chandan, the travel person who coordinated with us was knowledgeable to guide us and was also very accommodative of all the changes we had mentioned. 3. Affordable costs - Of the quotes we had received for the package, this was very economical and also efficient. So, if you are looking forward to travel in a budget then this might be a good choice. - - Moments 1. The itinerary was very cramped. If we were informed of the long journey hours between places, we could have planned better. Because of both kids and old people in the group, the cramped itinerary spoiled the fun on a few days. Better understanding of the travel time between places could be a good heads-up. 2. The driver tried to cover only uninteresting easy places rather than real good ones - The driver who was alloted to us was insisting on we visiting the usual places (like the Eco park types which is nothing unusual) rather than helping us prioritize off-beat beautiful destinations. Because of this we missed Mawlynnong as it was already dark by the time we reached there. 3. There was scope for some adventure activities during the trip which we din't know of before going there. So the travel planners could have given us those options so that customers can choose if they want to include it in their package. Overall it was a very well arranged and comfortable trip. Thanks to Mr.Chandan for arranging this wornderful trip.

Just travelled with these travels. Our tour included Shillong, Kaziranga, Bomdilla, Tawang and Daring with span of 10 days. Our package included hotels at every location with complimentary breakfast with heater available in every room for Arunachal Pradesh. When our tour started then the traveller provided us with an itinerary which had change in several of hotels than what was told to us earlier but Mr. Pulkesh Dash told that they are of equivalent level but trust me they weren't. Breakfast provided at every location was Bread Toast. Is this a conventional breakfast you expect??!! Not only that heaters were not there or not working in 2/3 locations in AP, against what was promised!!! After such poor services about which we always reported to Mr. Pulkesh who was our PoC for this tour, we asked him for a discount of 5% where in reply he talked pretty rudely. I would not recommend such travel services whose people do not even know how to talk with customers. If possible I would have given you negative rating!!!

Leisure Travels has been my and my family's go to place since 2015 (it was was that year we were introduced to LT) whenever we plan any kind of trip. Looking for a travel agent to help you in north- east then this definitely not the place. There are many reasons that i would like to outline from my recent experience on the trip: 1. Providing different(sub- standard) hotels then previously mentioned in the itinerary. 2. No proper breakfast in many places 3. Hotel rooms provided either didnt have a heater or they weren't working inspite of them having committed of providing a heater at AP 4. Feedback provided wasn't accepted and rude behaviour by one of the staff member( Mr Pulkesh Das) on showing them the difficulties faced by us. I would rate them negative but had to provide one star for the obvious reasons.

Scam , unprofessional, company is run by a bunch of ponies.No sense of direction. No customer service. Their employee do all the irresponsible things and then shouts on the customer. #ManikaTalukdar and owner #Rofiq - Big time liars and scammers. They don't even deserve a zero rating.
