LeHostel - Hostel in Leh - Leh Ladakh, India

We spent one night there, in a double room. Originally, we found it a bit expensive, but the price does include electric heater (usually charged in other hotels), and even electric blanket, which is a real luxury in winter. We found quite a few hairs on the blanket and the bedsheets, and towels were moderately clean. This can be improved. The place itself is quite lovely, with nice paintings on the wall, cozy sitting room downstairs. Rooftop has amazing view, but is a bit run down. Service might be better: the reception is often empty, and quite a bit of communication is done through WhatsApp. But overall a nice place to stay, and a good value for money!

I recently stayed at LeHostel and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. The hostel provides comfortable, clean and cozy beds that make for a restful sleep after a long day out exploring the city. I particularly loved spending time on the rooftop which offered a stunning view of the city. It was the perfect place to unwind and soak up some sun. The common areas were also very spacious, well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. They offered an inviting atmosphere where guests could relax, socialize and make new friends. Overall, I highly recommend LeHostel for its comfortable beds, beautiful rooftop, and welcoming common areas that help create an enjoyable stay for all guests

This is one of the good hostel in Leh, it's has got different kinds of dorms like 4 beds, 6 beds, female only dorm, mixed dorms. The infra is good, there is a common room where TV is there with all kinds of OTT platforms. You can rent lock for rs 50 (refundable) You can even rent Towel rs 35 ( non refundable) Water purifier is there, you can refill water any time. The hostel beds are okay, they provide blankets too (not that much comfy). Somehow during my stay I could not sleep there (may be because of the blanket or I was feeling claustrophobic). Washrooms are neat and clean. Price of the dorm is nominal. The reception guys are helpful in nature and they have numbers of cabs, bike rent agents and travel agents too. Overall it's a good one, you can come here for the stay.

Very poorly maintained hostel. No proper cleaning and nil room service. There is no landline from pvt rooms to contact reception everytime you have to go downstairs from second or third floor. Old furniture, dirty bedsheets were there. Flies in the room. Location is the only good point. It is facing the palace and two minutes walk from the main market.

Location is as bad as it can get. It's in a secluded street and there's no shop nearby. You have to walk for like 300m for reaching the main market. -Rooms are okayish but the view is useless, especially the ground floor. Please don't take the ground floor rooms as the view is totally blocked. -There are no amenities inside the room except geyser and a handwash. There is no water bottle, no cups, no electric kettle inside the room. There is one kettle in the common room but no glass water bottle or glasses to store or drink the water from. So you can heat the water but can't drink it. -Wifi coverage is good and you'll get it throughout the property with good speeds. -Bonfire is as per the host. If he wants, he'll provide a bonfire otherwise not. I repeatedly asked for a bonfire and the bonfire which they gave me lasted for like 5 mins. -There is no room heater inside the room. The blankets provided are dirty and some are torn. -The kitchen is not operational (maybe because of the closing season) but it's huge inconvenience. Don't know how this place has these positive reviews. My recommendation would be to avoid it at all possible cost.

LeHostel is a great place to stay at reasonable prices. We had taken a room for one night and it was a pleasant experience. It is conveniently located close to the Leh Market (400m away). The staff were friendly. Azhar bhai was a great host. He helped sort out our inner line permits and guided us on our local bike travels. The room was comfortable and spacious. The only small issue was there was a smell coming in the bathroom which we couldn't get rid of (possibly from the drain). The room freshener in the bathroom had also run out. The place also doesn't have a lift and so if you have a lot of luggage, it can be a challenge. Overall, it's a nice place to stay for budget travelers.

Great place to stay, clean and staff super friendly and welcoming. My flights were canceled last min due to bad weather and I was immediately put into a clean room even though they were busy. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL TRAVELER'S MALE AND FEMALE. Stunning views and beautiful local town. HAPPY CUSTOMER FOR SURE

Awesome place to stay. We have lots of place to chill if we reach before check in time. Terrace lobby was beautiful with the view of Leh palace. Hotel manager willi was very helpful. He helped us to arrange the bikes for our travel
