Le Meridien Goa, Calangute - Hotel in Calangute - North Goa, India

I booked a room at this hotel for two nights. When we arrived at the hotel our room was not ready even after the check in time. I had requested to arrange a cake prior for a celebratory occasion but that was not done too. I had to call again after the check in and request a couple of times to do the same. The lady at the front desk spoke rudely when we requested to provide us our room after waiting for sometime past the check in time. The bathroom was not clean and sufficient toiletries for two guests were not provided. Our room fare had breakfast included. The lady at the reception mentioned that the breakfast would start at 7 am. We went at the restaurant at 7.30 am as we had to leave to catch a flight but there were little to no food options available at the restaurant even after their stated time. We couldn't even get a tea or coffee at the restaurant and had to request a to go cup of tea while leaving from the hotel. Overall the quality of this hotel is below average for the cost of accomodation they charge. I would rate this hotel at par with a 3 star hotel. We will not be staying at this hotel in future. I don't recommend this facility better to spend your money somewhere else.

Amazing hospitality. Very helpful and friendly staff, Food is very delicious, Rooms are clean and the price for the room is totally worth it. Had a great experience. Would surely visit again.

Rating: 4.9/5 My stay at Le Meridien was close to perfection. There was a minor hiccup concerning the third bed in our room, but the staff addressed it efficiently. The culinary experience was delightful overall, though I encountered some chicken dishes where the meat was a tad rubbery. These are small issues that I'm confident can be easily resolved. I had a wonderful stay and look forward to visiting again.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights while participating at the National Games Goa. The rooms are very nice and clean. The housekeeping does a fantastic job. The location is also excellent with everything nearby. The drawbacks are the staff at the reception. Some of them are rude and unresponsive. If you call them from the room phone and ask them anything, they will hang up and never revert. I found this very unprofessional. The restaurant is average and the service is super slow. They take hours to deliver the food. The most horrible experience was the cab the hotel provided when we wanted to go to the candolim beach, the driver looked intoxicated, he abused me for booking the cab for such a short ride and he ordered me to get out. He said what is the use of you when you are booking such a short ride. I had to fight with him to drop me to the location and he took 500rs. It made the whole experience sour. I think the staff are the biggest minus to this hotel. Otherwise the location and rooms are very good.

Lovely and comfortable stay. Hotel was kind enough to change our room to pool side view on our request. Kids area is very good. Pool side area is fabulous. Your chef Mr Miraj is THE BEST. Miraj is always smiling , attentive, receptive and can understand the taste bud of a person. All his varieties of preparations were so tasty and yummy. Wish Almighty to give you a more soarkling brighter future.

Rooms were spacious and big. We could see dust settled in corners, nothing a bit more of housekeeping can't handle. Hotel folks were very friendly and supportive, with our different check in and check outs in the group. Service was pretty good too. Location is in Calangute, quite near to Candolim beach, other general stores and a bit of shopping places. The buffet spread was alright, for the standard that the hotel is known for, expected food flavour to be a lot more, that's all. Service staff was friendly.

invasion of privacy!! They entered our room with asking us and telling us. we have money, some important documents lying around. i have my clothes and bags open. this is not acceptable. i have check-in so many hotels. each and every hotel respect our privacy and entered only after taking permission. i talked to the manager about it and they said this is our policy we can enter your room without taking your permission for the maintenance. never gonna check in le- Meriden. shameless behaviour.

One of the best properties in Goa. I was not there with my parents for their anniversary and requested a small gesture from them and they surely did their best to make it so special for them. Staff is so humble and surely looks out for their guest. Thankyou so much for such a nice experience
