From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the elegant ambiance and attentive staff. The menu offered a delightful array of options, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. I can't describe how delicious and yummy each and every dish was! Very pleasant ambiance and service was hot and quick. A definitely must try for ones searching in Central kolkata. It's a 5 min walk from Netaji Bhawan metro station.

Located at Rabindra Sadan, a 5 minutes walk from the metro station, Lazeez is a multicuisine restaurant serving mughlai, North Indian as well as Chinese food. The ambiance and service is good, but I have a suggestion for them that the cutlery and crockeries they use to serve the guests could have been better according to the price of the menu. We ordered "Deep Sea" from the mocktail section which was quite refreshing, though not like virgin mojito. Peshawari fish tikka and crispy chicken stirred in hot sauce were mouth watering. The fish used in tikka was not vetki or basa, and tasted a little out of the box. From the main course we ordered naan and Shahi mutton korma (boneless). The korma tasted heavenly though the portion size could have been more if compared to the price of the dish.

I went here on Sunday 4th September 2023 for lunch with my two friends. We were very hungry after visiting Victoria Memorial. They have tried to provide a good atmosphere but failed. Anyhow they deserve 3/5 for their efforts. Now talking about the food. The food was not cooked well. Why don't these restaurants understand that we want good food not fancy food. We ordered fried Rice where the rice was not cooked properly. It was so unhealthy. Also we ordered Paneer and after they informed us that paneer is not available at the restaurant. I don't understand why they are informing us after ordering. Later we asked for mushroom chilli and that was the worst mushroom I have ever had. This restaurant is neither fancy. They are just acting to be a good restaurant. Anyhow if someone is going to visit Victoria Memorial please avoid visiting there. And one thing I want to mention about its washroom was so much that it smelled too bad.

This place had a great balance between good food, average service, and convenient parking. However, the ambiance of the restaurant could have been improved by adding more lighting, especially for those who want to take pictures. Let's start with the food, the dishes were amazing, and I must say we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The flavors were spot on, and the dishes were well presented. The menu had a wide variety of options to choose from, and the prices were quite reasonable for the quality of food that was served. We ordered - Chicken Reshmi Kebab, White Mischief large, Absolute small, Sprite, Butter Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chocolate Ice Cream. Moving on to the service, I would say it was okay. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, but they could have been a bit more proactive in refilling water, and making sure everything was alright with our meal. The restaurant had its own parking lot, which was very convenient for us. It saved us the hassle of finding a spot to park on the busy streets outside, and we were able to park easily. However, the one downside to the restaurant was the lighting. The place was a bit too dimly lit, making it a little difficult to take good pictures of the food or the ambiance. Adding more lighting could have really improved the ambiance and made it more comfortable for diners. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for its great food, convenient parking, and affordable prices. While the service could be improved, the overall experience was still good. If they could improve the lighting, it would definitely make it a perfect spot for a night out.
