Laxmi Barrage - Kaleshwaram Dam - Tourist attraction in Bhupalpally, Medigadda - Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, India

The Lakshmi Barrage, also known as the Medigadda Barrage[1] is the starting point of the proposed Kaleshwaram Project which envisages construction of three barrages between Yellampally & Medigadda. Its objective is to utilize Godavari water for drinking and irrigation. The Barrage/Project site is located at Medigadda Village, Mahadevpur Mandal, Jayashankar Bhupalpally district in Telangana State ITS built by L&T

Sun set is a great tourist attraction here. It is under-developing as picnic spot for tourist at right bank of the river. A great view point of great river GODAWARI. Must visit atleast once.

It is calm, poetic. When you go alone you find yourself. The sun, the sky, the water and it's sound, the wind, the paddy fields everything smiles at you.

#Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP) - which will serve as the lifeline for Telangana agriculture - will be inaugurated on 21 June 2019. It is lauded as an engineering marvel and world's largest multi-stage lift irrigation project.

It is a very big project... Nice place visit... All river water is flowing through 86 gates ...good to see the water... I enjoyed a lot seeing the entire project.. Well designed and constructed in huge... All people are going to visit the place... After 1 year it is going to be tourism place... Roads are little damage... Kaccha roads... Except that everything is fine....
