Langcha Kuthee - Featured Reviews (4328)
Whenever we travel to bolpur we always make it a point to get down at langcha Kuthee for a tea break as it's hygiene and food quality food available. Service provided is good. Parking of vehicles is also available in front of the shop.
Shaktigarh is famous for its langcha and this shop is famous for the same...they have renovated the shop recently and decoration is okok...they serve snacks and other food items as well...we tried Puri sabzi , dhokla and panner sandwitch... sandwitch quantity is one piece per plate.....they have washrooms as well outside of the shop and maintained well. Staffs behaviour is nice..
The first lyangcha shop that will appear if you are travelling from Kolkata to Durgapur. Their menu is not limited to only lyangcha, since there are only 3 trays of lyangcha they serve, but they serve a whole lot of other breakfast items, like hor puri and cholar dal, dhokla, vegetable and paneer sandwiches. Mihidana and sitabhog apart from rosogollas and monda are sold out in plenty. It is not only a lyangcha shop, but has grown into an all rounder shop. Poor toilets is a major drawback for ladies to use, and even for gents now. Rest good.
Stopped for a halt while travelling to Santiniketan for a small break. Food quality is not at all joto the mark. Lyangcha was not at all fresh. Tea is also of poor quality.
Saktigarh is famous for it's famous sweet named 'Langcha'.If you are visiting to Burdwan, Bankura or Purulia by bus, then your bus will stop/Break at 'Langcha Kuthee'. Their must eat sweets are Langcha, Mihidana, Sitabhog.1st, You have to pay the seller, he/she will give you the bill and you can get your order by showing the bill.
The shop is fully covered with the flies, on every thing food, plates, sweets etc. When U r going to eat or buy something to eat if U see a dead body of a fly is just beside that it will not feel good or hygienic.
Am not telling about the taste of the sweets, but the overall experience.
while approaching Asansol from Kolkata this is a good place to have a break and light tiffin. Wide range of snacks are available. Test and price is acceptable. Makha sandesh is their one of the items I liked most. Self service is the only option. You will find good quality Jhal Muri in front of this shop.
Toilet needs lots of improvement.
Among other nearby shops , it is good to take a halt for refreshments. Adjacent parking place is also spacious.
