They arranged our trip to North Sikkim, Lachen and Lachung. Ramesh and Binita were very courteous and tried to help us in every possible way during our stay in Sikkim. They arranged decent hotels and homestays for us. The driver arranged by them was also great. He managed to take us to our hotel despite heavy snowfall and made all possible efforts to take us to the sightpoints even though everything was closed due to heavy snowfall. Overall our experience was amazing and would go with them again for our left out points.

Very poor experience. In North Sikkim Pakage, there was not electric at night in Lachung and food quality was poor. Then East Sikkim tour, they assured us to provide car. But finally informed that they will not provide car as per our tour date and said us to wait another day. Our East Sikkim tour was just going to hamper, but finally with the help of one kindhearted person we had got car for East Sikkim. But our North Sikkim Driver Vikash Sherpa is really a good driver and gentleman. #travelwithsanjib

DONT BOOK YOUR TRIP PLEASE This guy is cheap. We were 3 and booked North sikkim 2 day trip. He told us that its a new vehicle which was not true bt thats not a big concern. He charged full amount before trip started and booked just one small room for 3 of us and told us to adjust. There was just one bed which was not even sufficient to accommodate 2 We had no choice but to arrange one room thereby paying from our pocket for additional room. Its not just monitory thing but for a stranger it also ruins the experience.

I booked Nathula pass with Gangtok sightseeing (2 days tour) and North Sikkim : Lachen and Lachung (3 days) tour. Had an amazing time. The staff is very friendly and arrangements done were good and in budget.

Absolutely pathetic service. Dealing with Ramesh (the owner) was a nightmare. Despite paying for the highest package, the hotel offered in his package was disgusting and I had to change hotels the very first night. The shared taxi next day was 4 hours late. Upon asking he kept changing his alibi. Even with payment and other arrangements he seemed quite a shady character. He had not arranged for veg. food despite emphasizing. The driver followed his own itinerary and not the one given to us when we booked the trip. I wouldn't go with Lama Tours if you want a nice peaceful trip.

A lot of learnings from our 10 day trip to sikkim. The most important one : research before you choose the tour agency. Lama tours has good contacts and organizes the trips in time. The staff are helpful. However, a lot of management issues... We got charged a good 15% extra in the tours. We got cramped on the vehicle, where the shared 7 seater taxi on the north sikkim trip was stuffed with 9 people. My verdict : not a good travel agency. Advice : ask around atleast 3 agencies on MG Marg before choosing one... You will save a lot of money. Also exclusively ask the size of the vehicle and number of people sharing it. Will avoid you a lot of hassle on your vacation

I booked a private cab for Changu lake and shared cab for 3 days Lachung - Lachen trip. The drivers were great. However in case of sharing cabs, if you are told by operators that they would provide rotation scheme in seating arrangement, make sure you take it in written from them because there are chances that they are giving false promises.

One of worst service provider on the mg Marg in gangtok. If possible try to avoid this travel agent. First of all the behavior is unacceptable. Secondly even after booking the cab and paying advance, they didn't send the cab. The excuse they gave to return the advance was pathetic. There are lot better travels and cab booking agents who provide genuine and best service in Gangtok
