Had an awesome outing with a few family members of mine to explore some islands in Lakshadweep. All but 2 among our group of 9 were senior citizens. The helping hand extended by the manager, Mr.Joseph, of Lakshadweep Cruise Tourism in getting our tickets confirmed and also giving proper directions for preparations for the journey was precise and commendable. In the ship too the Manager Mr Yasser Arafat, played the lovely part of a good host and really made us all feel at home. The care and patience he displayed towards the tourists was enviable. The serene beaches was a wonder to explore. The love and affection shown by the residents definitely deserves a huge applause.

It was an amazing experience going with Sports and the Ship MV Kavaratti was with awesome facilities starting from clean room to deck and dining hall. Mr Joseph explained every details before going and Mr.Arafat guided us and managed so well in entire trip. The staffs are so good while serving food even in island also. The water activities like scuba, snorkeling was guided by good trainers even while transferring to small boat and kayaking we felt absolutely safe. The sightseeing was arranged by them. The food was tasty and there was veg and nonveg section separately. The main satisfaction we got from the colour of water. It felt like we are in some other country like Maldives but compare to Maldives it's far cheaper. One thing I felt can be improved is to arrange room for those who are not doing water activities as the whether was very hot and staying entire day in beach is little exhausting. I would recommend everyone to go with Sports and mainly avail this cruise as it's an lifetime awesome experience can't be explained in words.

We had a wonderful time at Cordelia's Lakshadweep cruise. From the smooth booking process with the very helpful Mr. Joseph to the pleasant and always helpful crew, it was a pleasure to sail with Cordelia. The ship is clean and well-maintained and the cabins are comfortable. Best of all, the buffet is delicious. Would love to go again.

We travelled to Lakshadweep Islands from Kavaratti cruise on Samudram package of SPORTS Society for Promotion of Nature Tourism and Sports by Lakshadweep Tourism. We boarded on cruise on 22 Mar 23 from Cochin port around 1830 for first Island Kalpeni and reached there around 8 in the morning of 23 Mar 23. From cruise we were taken to Island by small boats and a warm welcome was done by tourism department of Kalpeni with welcome drink, water sports activity, followed by lunch, local folk dance and evening tea with sight seeing of island. In the evening we were taken to cruise by small boats from where started for next destination Agatti Island. Similar activities were conducted on this island too and were were taken back to ship for onward journey Minicoy, the third island in the tour programme. Minicoy is really very beautiful island with coconut trees and mangroves with lush green trees and shrubs all over island. This was the biggest island out of the three. With population of appprox 16K having village system comprising of 11 villages. The island is quite nearer to Maldives and people of Minicoy speaks Mahl language which is spoken in Maldives There is a light house made in 1885 from which top clear and beautiful view of nature mix of sea and island is seen by the tourists. After sight seeing we returned to ship for return journey to Cochin and reach Cochin on 26 Mar 23 around 1400 hrs. On the ship all the facilities like first class AC cabin with two bed, working table with chairs, cup boards, washrooms neat and clean are there. There are separate dining halls for veg and non veg. Timings for morning tea, breakfast and dinner are strictly to be followed by all on board passengers and tourists. Recreation hall, helipad and swimming pool are also in place at Ship. Food is good at Ship as well as on island except at Agatti which was much below expectation including the hospitality provided there. While Kalpeni and Minicoy warmly welcomed and provided excellent hospitality, Agatti was lacking and SPORTS should exclude Agatti from the tourist list or improve the hospitality and facility for tourists. We enjoyed a lot the 5 days and 4 nights tour to Lakshadweep island sponsored and organised by Lakshadweep Tourism and SPORTS and thanks them for their dedicated efforts and hospitality at on board and at Islands We recommend to the viewers that they must explore india and Lakshadweep by Samudram package and enjoy the leisure. Mr Joseph was always willing to provide any help needed and he was very cooperative and convincing person. Chandra Bhan Singh Cabin 574.

Very well organised trip. The staff which accompanied us to various islands and activities were very polite and extremely friendly. Food was the best. If you eat seafood, you're going to eat the best seafood here. Highly recommended :)

Everything, for example, the way in which the tourists are welcomed, the stay, the food etc were GREAT. For food My suggestion is that, you may fix seperate time for each floor instead of announcement. For shopping, you may take the tourists in groups, instead of taking everybody at the same time. You may also instruct the tourists to stand in queue so that the old aged and family with small children may not have any problem.

I wish to take this opportunity to tell you that my Samudram Cruise was excellent. From arriving at the scanning office on departure day to leaving the port in the auto rickshaw on completion of the cruise everything was wonderful. The staff who greeted me and presented me with my 'cruise uniform' of cap, sport shirt, and ID lanyard were helpful, courteous, and very efficient. The ship was wonderful, my 'Diamond Class' cabin was far more comfortable than I ever expected and the ship's crew were always friendly and polite, they were especially well practised at helping the passengers on and off the various tenders to and from shore. The chef and his staff provided delicious meals for us which we thouroughly enjoyed. The whole crew were a credit to the Captain and officers of the ship and I would like to pass on my thanks and good wishes for safe passages for their future. The SPORTS staff, both on board and ashore at the various islands were also first class. They were knowledgeable and well experienced in all the different classes of water sports, activities, and equipment. The meals provided on the islands were plentiful and delicious. I was surprised that in total there was over 700 passengers on board MS Kavaratti, it never felt crowded and mealtimes were never a crush, and I thoroughly enjoyed the warm friendship showed to me by my fellow passengers. I WILL tell other people about the Lakshadweep cruise packages. However, I will explain to them in depth that this is not the usual cruise package, that they would be part of an organised group of about 170 people, primarily Indian citizens, travelling between and visiting the islands as a group, and travelling on a ship which services the islands as well as carrying passengers. Having said that I am confident that they too would enjoy this cruise. Lastly, but by no means least, I wish to thank Sports Lakshadweep Cruise Tourism, especially Mr. Terence Joseph, for being so helpful in assisting me in arranging my cruise.
