I had a very peaceful time during my visit. The atmosphere at the temple is very peaceful and serene, and devotees here come to seek solace and blessings. The temple staff are extremely helpful and welcoming, and they offer helpful guidance to visitors and answer all their queries.

This is a very famous Kali Temple South Kolkata off Southern Avenue. It's very crowded on Tuesdays, Saturdays and festival time. Devotees can have a darshan and offering of puja at this holy place. There is very little space and hence becomes crowded at times. There is no 4 or 2 wheeler parking and one has to park their vehicles at least 500 metres away. May Goddess Kali shower her blessings to all visiting devotees, Jai Ma Kali.
Southern Avenue Lake Kalibari. Real name Sri Sri 108 Karunamayi Kalimata Mandir. Located in the area adjacent to Dhakuria Lake, this Kali temple is commonly known as Lake Kalibari. It is known among devotees as one of the most awakened Kalimandirs in South Kolkata. In 1949 Haripad Chakraborty Mahashay established this temple. The name of the mother Kali of the temple is "Karunamayi Kali". Animal sacrifice is prohibited in this temple.
