One beautiful place ideal destination for cycling. Lake is not so well maintained. So it would be great if plp of that place become responsible n try to maintain n protect it . I could find many birds over der so a good place for bird watching too

Bettanapalaya Kere is a beautiful lake in rural Bangalore close to the Mysore road. The water looks clean and currently (oct 2022), the lake is brimming with water and overflowing into the Rajakaluve which is a great sight to behold. The place is a great spot to watch the sunsets, and can be combined with a visit to other nearby spots like the Dodda Aalmara. Evening time you can also spot a large flock of birds nesting near the lake

Nice peaceful place to chill in sunsets.

It's an awesome view by a beautiful, serene and unexplored Lake.. not that much disturbed so far. Located just about 5 Km Mysore Road ( The road adjacent to Raja Rajesweri Dental College and Hospital), after Kumbalgodu Industrial Area. Along the Bettanapalya - Ramohalli Road, we took a 50 mtr ride towards the Lake (Lat/ Long shared below) , where we were rewarded with a stunning view of the lake, with woods across the lake. Could enjoy the cool breeze by the side of the beautiful lake. Try to reach there latest by 7 am in the morning or after 5 'O clock in the evening. An evening visit will be rewarded with a charming sunset view.. It's accessible by walk/ cycle/ motorcycle from main road. Swimming in the lake is not advised as there are no safety facilities or staff to oversee. Just enjoy the view of lake...
