Laitsohpliah Falls - Featured Reviews (73)
Laitsohpliah Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya, India. To reach the falls, I had to take a ride through the winding roads of the hills. The falls are approximately 3 km from the village of Nohron and can be reached by a road through the hills.
The falls are surrounded by lush green forests and offer a mesmerizing view of the valley from the top. The cascading waterfalls create a soothing sound that is sure to calm your senses.
One can also take a dip in the cool waters of the falls and feel rejuvenated. The area around the falls is ideal for hiking and trekking, and one can explore the natural beauty of the region.
As I reached the falls, I was amazed by the beauty of the cascading waterfalls. The sound of the water falling from a height was soothing to my ears. I spent some time admiring the falls and taking pictures.
I decided to explore the area further and went for a hike to the top of the falls. The view from the top was mesmerizing, and I could see the entire valley from there. I also saw the lush green forests that surround the falls.
As I left Laitsohpliah Falls, I felt grateful for the experience. The natural beauty of the falls is truly breathtaking, and it is a must-visit destination for nature lovers.
A beautuful roadside place. All over greenary and you can see the green valley from this point. You need to pay for ticket for traking to the fall. Some fruit shops are there. Visit in monsoon season to have mesmerising views. The water level is high in monsoon and you can see the watery hills which are really amazing
Awesome view of nature from here, falls is also too good.
When we reached there too much raining. Actual Meghalaya wala raining. Had to buy an overexpensive umbrella (250Rs).
The place is next to the road and the bridge, from where you can enjoy the view of the valleys and the light show of the sun and clouds on the mountains. It's an awesome view, and you can also have some corn from the people that sell those next to the road while gazing at the endless hills. You have to complete all stairs to see the waterfall.
Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point is one such captivating destination. Stationed close to the Sohra tourism circuit, this area was recently taken up by Meghalaya Tourism Board for development, making it more accessible to explore. From this point, one can witness spectacular views of a swooping valley, formed by a group of lush hills on either side.
A magnificent experience.
Truly a force of nature u need to see this.
