A really well planned tour by the good folks at Ladakh Backpackers. Wonderful car & driver provided by them. Mr Ghulam was super cautious & nimble with his driving skills. Knew how to get through commercial hotspots at strange timings when there's less crowd so one good really soak in the essence of the place. Fida really helped me out in planning a tour where I was also gonna take my mum who is 64. Booked us at a really good hotel in Leh. Ladakh Odyssey, they really helped us prep to make our next eight days easy. Leh, Lamayuru, Nubra, Turtuk, Pangong, Hanle, Leh. Had a wonderful trip. Would highly recommend speaking to either Fida, Padma or Rinchen before making bay bookings. They'll help you plan things very well.

From the moment I first contacted Fida, the founder, I knew I was in good hands. Not only is he a travel writer, but he also gets a PhD in postcolonial studies - I'm convinced he can decipher the secret language of the mountains! Fida is so responsive that I'm convinced he must have a magical hotline straight to the Himalayas. And his knowledge about Ladakh left me feeling like I had my very own personal Wikipedia guide. Now, let's talk about the team in Leh. I owe a massive shoutout to Padma, the tour executive extraordinaire in Leh, for making it unforgettable. From the moment I arrived in Leh, Padma was like a guardian angel in disguise. I have tons of questions and (silly) requests, but Padma handled it all with grace and charm. And if you're worried about having a moment of panic or confusion during your trip, fear not! Padma's responsiveness is so lightning-fast. No matter how trivial or monumental my questions were, Padma was there, making sure I had all the information I needed to make the most of my Ladakh experience. Padma always had a serene demeanor that put us at ease. In a place as mesmerizingly beautiful and remote as Ladakh, having a tour executive like Padma is an absolute game-changer. He made sure every moment of my adventure was filled with joy, curiosity, and comfort. So, if you're planning a Ladakh trip and you want it to be more than just a vacation, Padma is your man.
