Lacadives at Chidiyatapu - Diving center in Port Blair - South Andamans, India

Enjoyed my experience of Diving a lot, found the practical part of the course very easy to understand because the instructors were very easy to approach and would recommend anyone who wants to start their diving course to do it here. The locations such as 'corruption rock' and 'lighthouse' have many beautiful varieties of fish and are very nice to view underwater.

Highly rate Lacadives to dive with and for providing information on the Andamans. Got in touch with the Lacadives team and they organised the start of my trip at Chidiyatapu. The team at Chidiyatapu were friendly, skilled and professional, the equipment was good quality and well maintained, trips were well organised and boats well maintained. Instruction and advice that I saw being provided to others was also excellent. I was particularly impressed by the care and conscientious approach to teaching on being careful with coral. (As an instructor myself, I'm quite fussy.) (I will note the boat is not an ideal dive boat, but fits with what they have been required to use by the local regulations. There are also a few dive sites on offer here, unlike the many, many sites on offer at Havelock.) As I was leaving Chidiyatapu the team were happy to help with advice and bookings on other aspects of my trip. I look forward to coming back and diving with the team again and would recommend them without hesitation.

Where professionalism meets quality and experience. Had a wonderful time with fun dives and deep speciality course with them. All staffs are too helpful and professional. Many thanks to the instructor Mr.Ajay Antony for being a great instructor. Have never seen such a patient and skillful instructor who teaches students in exactly the way they want. I am too glad that my course was instructed by him. The dive centre, equipments are perfectly professional with wonderful dive sites. Looking forward to doing more dives with them.

I did 6 fun dives and a night dive here as part of a diving trip to the Andamans during end of Feb 2022. 1. Location : Located at the untouched rainforest and seaside locales of Chidiyatapu, the trip had a lot more to offer after diving such as cliffside treks and lovely sunsets. 2. Dive sites : Dive sites were magnificent in terms of underwater fauna with huge schools of a variety of fish. The 60m colonial era Shipwreck, broken ancient jetty at Che Nala , liveliness of Corruption rock were definitely world class. The shallower sites had extremely vivid coral and sea life which was a treat for any diver as well. At least one night dive is recommended for the Biolumenesce which was unlike what I've ever seen anywhere in the world. 3. Sea life : Huge schools of bumpheads, trivelli, turtles, anemone Fish, coral of all sorts, ribbon worms, Moray Eels, plenty of sting rays, Sweetlips, barracuda, stone fish, scorpion fish, crocodile fish, streaks of biolumenescent plankton by night and much much more. 4. Safety : The boats and equipment were in great shape and the crew of Lacadives was thoroughly professional in terms of dive safety. 5. Dive Crew : The dive crew was a bubbling set of young divers, enthusiastic about scuba diving and equally knowledgeable about marine life which made the trip an unforgettable experience. Big thanks to Keshav, Anirudh and Satish who accomodated all my demands and planned out and executed my diving without any hiccups. 6. Highly recommended in case you're going for a trip to the Andamans for the exquisite dive sites and fantastic crew. Kudos to the Lacadives team at Chidiyatapu for the awesome experience.

Amazing experience, the dive team is extremely professional & helped us do our first dive swiftly! A big thanks to Havovi, Rahil, Kunal for giving us an adventure of a lifetime in Andaman. Definitely the highlight of our short trip.

Lacadives , is one of the oldest company in Adman's , Havelock for scuba diving and various other water sport activity and training , Dives Kayaking , trails , Snorkeling , Established in 1995 . There head office is in chidiya tapu of Andmans. They have a office inside the premises of Taj exotica Spa & Resorts , Havelock.

I had an amazing time doing my PADI Open Water course and a few fun dives with Lacadives in Havelock and Chidiyatapu. The team was helpful right from when I started emailing them with requests for information. They facilitated the 2-day pool training in Mumbai, followed by the 2-day Open Water dives in Havelock. Pratik Shettigar was the Dive Instructor in Havelock and was extremely clear, patient and helpful while instructing me. We were lucky to not run into crowds at Havelock while diving. At Chidiyatapu, it was a blast doing fun dives with Havovi and team. I did fun dives, a friend did Discover Scuba and a third did snorkelling. Chidiyatapu is relatively less travelled compared to Havelock and that showed in the quality of the reef. The size and diversity of sea life seemed to be better. While the reef wasn't as extensive as Havelock, it seemed less damaged. Thanks to Greetika for helping us with all the bookings and the Big Tree recommendation. Do check out Big Tree if you are travelling to Chidiytapu. Diya and her team are amazing, and so are the food and accommodation. Would definitely want to continue my dive training with Laca.
