It is the best place for the purpose of konark sun temple visit. The service provided by Mr. Sarat Mohapatra (Tutu) is great. We had a vehicle arranged to pick us up from the airport and when we decided to move out to a different hotel in puri, we were still dropped by a vehicle he arranged.
Lipu is a very warm host. Nice budget hotel, with adjoining kitchen named Rose Garden Restaurant.

It is just at the bus stop of Konark temple. Lipu a young boy and his father runs the lodge. Very nice and supportive people. Like the owners lodge is simple but very clean.AC works well. Washroom very clean. Gyser also there. Food place is just next door. Silent place. Chandrabagha beach 3 kms so best location and best place to stay near temple and beach.
Good Hotel in Konark to stay. Staff is courteous. Hotels for breakfast, Lunch, Dinner are very near. Konark sun Temple is at wakable distance from Hotel.. Calm,quite and safe Hotel. Hot water avaliability. Also AC rooms are there.

Very welcoming staff, polite and friendly. The rooms are big and clean. The AC is a bit old and making noise, but this is the only not so good point. The propertiy is a bit outside of the Konark, but the temple is in a walkable distance. Also foreign
Good beach with lots of speed boats, buggy rides and boats. A must visit after visiting the Konark Sun temple. In olden days the temple used to be near the ocean but over time the sea bed has receded. Parking fee is Rs 40.
