Everything is very good here... staff, management, location and the property. A peaceful stay you can enjoy here though it is on the busy street. It is close to the beach and Aurobindo Ashram and other tourist spots. Vegetarian food served here was delicious and I appreciate the kitchen staff who really made us feel at home with their cooking. A special appreciation for Tim who manages the place so well that no one can find any faults. Except for climbing the staircases to reach the restaurant's upper floors one would not find any major issues here. If you request for room service even the food may be delivered by the staff here. No smoking, drinking is allowed inside the rooms.

Staying at this beautifully maintained heritage guest house was a delight. The service was exceptional, with a wonderfully polite and accommodating staff which added to the peaceful ambiance. Breakfast was complimentary and really good. Additionally, its convenient location, 500 meters away from the beach and just a short walk from various cafes and restaurants, makes it an ideal choice for a serene retreat by the coast. Highly recommended for a tranquil and convenient coastal getaway.

I had an amazing experience at La Maison Pondichery - Heritage Guesthouse! From the moment I stepped in, it felt like a true home away from home. The property's heritage charm with its French era ambiance added a unique touch to the stay. The food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, always courteous and eager to assist. The location was a huge advantage as it allowed me to explore Pondicherry conveniently, with everything important within walking distance. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a cozy and authentic experience. It's important to note that it's not a luxury resort, so it's best to set your expectations accordingly before booking. Nevertheless, for me, it was an absolute gem, and I would gladly return for another delightful stay!

Amazing hospitality by staff .We had reached early morning as we had taken Sleeper bus from Bangalore , Though their check in time was 2.00 PM they allowed us to keep the luggage and freshen up and gave us the room as soon as possible, same while check out. This is what we term as customer service at the best, understanding and catering to our needs is what makes them different. Breakfast was amazing with their local cuisine and rooms were clean. Thank you for making our stay very pleasant. Would 100%recommend for a pleasant stay.

Had a Wonderful and Cozy Stay at this Place. All the Staff and Management are very Welcoming, Courteous and Helpful. The breakfast was amazing: home-cooked authentic flavours. Would definitely return to this place.

Nice place, courteous staff, it has that feel of heritage building. Breakfast was complimentary and it was nice, mostly South Indian meals with fruit and juice. It is located about 400 meters from the beach and most of the eateries are within a distance of about 700 mts. They have a single parking space in front of the building and a warehouse that is about 600 mts away from the guesthouse, for which they offer to arrange conveyance. A good experience overall.

The property is 300 years old with an idol of Tirupathi Balaji which is 500 years old. Every morning the idol is decorated after abhishekam. There is no smoking or alcohol allowed on the premises. Ideal for family. Parking is a bit of a problem on the street as its a very busy road. If you have a driver then the vehicle can be parked at a dedicated parking space some 200m from the property. The location is great as its in the middle of White Town. The service is ok. Morning breakfast is good but one needs to be patient. The manager is very hospitable and advises on all nearby attractions and eateries.

Words will fall short if i try to describe my wonderful stay here. i had fallen quite ill due to a stomach infection that i picked up during my travels and the entire staff came together to help me out in every way possible. they offered to take me to the hospital, arranged food that would help my case and kept checking on me to ensure that i am feeling and doing better. Every single person who manages this property deserve a special mention. The breakfast spread here is amazing and everything is churned out fresh. You should not miss out on the local south Indian breakfast spread made by the Amma who cooks there, i truly miss her food. I don't even like idli but i gorged on the ones cooked by her. The rooms are spacious, we got the suite and they don't have TV which was perfect for me since I wanted a bit of a detox. the property is very well maintained and it is cleaned every single day. you wouldn't find a speck of dust anywhere. I cannot wait to stay here again. Few things that can be changed here, are the blankets used. the material was a bit worn out and they must upgrade to softer quilts. Without intercom in rooms, it's a bit difficult to contact the reception incase one needs something. We did face frequent power cuts and only the fan in the living area of the suite room worked and not in the bedroom- so power back up is an issue that must be resolved.
