As a tourist I simply can say disappointing place. There is nothing to see or to do. Still one can get a very good view of aizawl from the height. Paying Entry fee of Rs.30 is not worth. Avoid if u can.
I visited this place on Sunday, entery charge is 30 rs, photography is allowed. It's a Love symbol of North East, maintenance is average. This place is located on hill so you can look beautiful view of surrounding hill , place is quite not much crowded, you can visit it in 15 min.
As the place was built in the memory of Mrs Rosangpuii by her husband and here you can find several of her clothes and other accessories like shoes and photos of her and their children. Although the place was built to stand for a long time, due to lack of proper maintenance the place have worsened significantly. The fountain is no longer functioning and looks like septic water for mosquitoes, some windows have cracked and the structures have their pieces missing. There's not much to see here especially with the fountain being broken. The road leading to the memorial is extremely bad and rough. One also needs to pay 30 rupees just to get inside. I wouldn't recommend this place if you want to be amazed but the view is nice and the photos, clothes and shoes are quite interesting.
This place is a tomb/grave of rebound family of Aizawl. This is also a tourist attraction and viewpoint of Aizawl city. An entry fee was also there during my last visit. The memorial is made of white marble surrounded by a small garden with natural beauty.
Awesome view and sunset.
Nice place beautiful view 30rs entry fee each side mountains view is free
Well known as Mizo tajmahal located in Durtlang, Aizawl (few km away from city. This was built in the memory of Mrs. Rosangpuii Varte who died in a t road accident in 2001. Her footwear, wardrobe and photos are kept here , located in a beautiful location where one side you will see complete Panaromic view of hills ! Lovely place to spend for couples for a peaceful evening ! Salute to her husband who spend all his savings and time for this beautiful monument !
The place is good, but food serving was not good. I will not recommend to others.
We were there in december. we got a local guide. It was a bit hard work to climb up and down. It took around 1-1 hour. But definitely worth it. It is the most beautiful waterfall we ever seen. I love Mizoram
A lot of plastic waste in the waterfall Most beautiful beautiful place Silent The Way is not suitable for small children , old age and overweight person Very very steepy narrow way down
The rooms were spacious and had all the necessary amenities. Wifi is available 24/7. The bathroom was small but tidy and had a geyser too. The view from the balcony was great and the behaviour of the host was very pleasant and friendly. She helped us
One of the best tile shops in Mizoram. They have a wide selection of tiles and bathroom accessories so you dont really need to go to other shops. The prices are right and they do delivery in Aizawl (I believe) which is a big plus. The staffs are real
My friend, who was also a visitor at Maryland Homestay, recommended the place to me. Thanks to my friend, I choose to stay in this place and was at ease during my week in Mizoram. Mr. Harold was one of the nicest host I have ever experienced. So help
Tucked away amidst the mountains, with peace and a whole lot of calm. I happened to book it 3 hours before reaching Aizawl, and they were kind enough to accomodate me in the cottage, when I had booked a single room. Just walking into the place, I kne
Be advised, Once you've entered, you're in the seventh heaven; Un-realistically well equipped with the latest equipments for the body to work and train at one's own pace. A breathtaking view that pleases the eyes and alleviate the heart and soul tha
