Stay was excellent and had a great . experience. Beautiful location with lake view. The wooden cottages are cute and beautiful with small canals by the side. A big swimming pool with lake as background is so awesome. Somethings which can be improved are that variety of food served can be improved during lunch and dinner, especially fish and chicken items. Another thing is limited no of bicycles. My suggestion is to provide a couple bicycle to each cottage. Overall it was a fantastic experience and friendly atmosphere.
It's a very good resort, just everything is perfect.

Simply awesome. I stayed with my family. The service was very nice. The room and bathroom were very well maintained. We stayed in a hut-like room made of wood. It looked like an antique type. The pool was the highlight of the stay. It has 2 pools - main one and baby pool,both were simply awesome. The location of the pool which is close to the backwaters is the most highlighted one. The breakfast we had was also very nice.

Awesome view from the wooden cottages/garden/lake side. Rooms/bathrooms are good and well maintained. Pool is kept neat and clean.Friendly and very good service by the staff. Stay during moderate monsoon season is recommended. Breakfast buffet didn't had much vareity options but it is not holding me back from giving a five star rating.
The stay at KTDC Waterscapes exceeded all my expectations. Be it the infrastructure, the courteous staff, the cleanliness and maintenance, the views, the food or the location, every aspect was top notch. It has become one of my top favorite in the list of hotels that I like to stay, to get away from all the hustle and bustle of life. The ambience that the property provides is truly exceptional. Special mention must be made of Mr. Allen, Mr. Ajay, Mr. Anand and Mr. Rajeev who made possible a memorable evening on my husband's birthday, when I requested them to arrange for a surprise cake on short notice. Not only was the surprise executed well, the cake was also every bit yummy. Thanks to the entire team for making our stay blissful.
Amazing location and facilities. Fabulous job done by a government controlled resort. Such places might change future perspective for government run properties. Highly recommended to get best views to backwaters.
We stayed for 2 nights, it was really great experience for us to escape from the city buzz. We booked cottage view resort, it was bit behind the lake view, but still not bad at all.
Food was also good as well as their hospitality.

We booked a 1 bedroom houseboat with A/C in the bedrooms. It was spacious and clean and the bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with an English toilet (no toilet paper only a water jet so take that if you need it!).

We had this mid-sized boat to ourselves (a group of 4). It was nice mostly sunny day so we enjoyed the view from top. The crew were very friendly and navigated the boat at a nice leisurely pace. My wife even took a short nap in one of the bedrooms.
