Good place to visit with family and see the elephants up close. However I was a little disappointed to see just 5 elephants and a baby elephant and in tight spaces. The adult animals were chained. A bigger and better habitat would be less cruel for them. You can't touch the creatures and there aren't any elephant rides since the pandemic. The museums were tiny but interesting & informative. Children's park needs some upgrade. The garden and flora around the park is beautiful. Overall tour of the place would take about an hour. The entire park is small but you could picnic in the garden to make the best use of your drive. The adult entry ticket costs Rs.50, for a child it's Rs.20 and the car parking cost was Rs.30. They could sell some souvenirs, T-shirts and other merchandise to make money, add more attractions and expand the space.

A place to spend 1- 2 hours while you are in Konni or passing through here. There is good parking space , a small children's playing area and a milma parlour for refreshments. The only disappointment is that even though the place is not clean, the staff will ask you to take off the shoes while entering the museum and exhibit area.

We went here on World Elephant Day. Because of it there were some govt officials and the Elephant Feeding function also happened there. So we are able to see Elephants nearby. It is well maintained place. There are around 5 Elephants and one cute little Baby elephant. It has an Art Gallery and Museum. Also have a small Children Park. Good place to spend some time with children.

Went there for an afternoon visit. This small elephant reserve was below my exceptions. There is only 4-5 elephants (with an infant) chained. In a constrained space. There is a small cafeteria which sells drinks, snacks and ice-creams. A museum and AV room wasn't impressive either. A children's park that fines customers if used by over 12 years. Ticket price seems reasonable. However there is a cost of you would like to use a camera. Parking is free. No elephant rides in case you are wondering. Visit it but keep expectations low.

Recommended Konni Elephant Training Centre in Pathanamthitta Konni in Pathanamthitta district is among the most prominent elephant training centres in Kerala. It attracts visitors in large numbers throughout the year. One of the major attractions here are the giant wooden cages used to house the elephants. Locally known as Aanakoodu, they can house up to 3 to 4 elephants at a time. The primary focus of the trainers here is to deal with the development of baby elephants that have been separated from their herd or been found hurt somewhere. The elephants are taught to obey specific commands and are taken for special exercise walks in the morning, are given baths and specific diets. At Konni, one gets to observe this training procedure in person. The baby elephants love playing with the guests. Bigger elephants are used for rides around the place. The nearest railway station is at Chengannur, about 35 km away. Save this for

Visited this place few years back and it's a nice place to visit with family. Especially kids will like it very much as there are quite good numbers of elephants and elephant cubs. Elephants are kept in a hygienic place and seem like they are well taking care of.

It's a good place to see elephants very nearby. Kids will enjoy by looking at them. The museum and art gallery were nice. Currently elephant ride is not available due to COVID restrictions. There is a small park for kids and canteen service is also available. Overall a good place to spend with kids for a day.

"Stepping into the elephant park felt like entering a magical realm of wonder and learning. The park's commitment to elephant preservation is evident in every corner, from the informative exhibits to the guided tours that highlight the importance of these creatures in our ecosystem. It's a place where both kids and adults can enjoy a meaningful, eye-opening experience while supporting a vital cause."
