This museum is not very famous. This is near to GPO. This is a great place for philatelist . No entry fees are charged for visiting this museum , photography is strictly prohibited here .

Good collection. It is for those who are interested in a bit of history. No tickets. And no photography inside. They should allow photography. It would increase the footfall of viewers.
Located next to the GPO, this is a fantastic museum for lovers of philately. Entry is free however they strictly don't permit any sort of photography which is a major bummer. From old stamps to how the postal department used to run a transportation service during the Raj era, I learnt a lot. The displays and staff were fantastic but I was so sad not to get to capture anymore for research.

It has some invaluable items like postal stamps, letters, rare postal insurance documents, medals, telegraph machine, coin invalidating machines and the most important Black Hole plaque in their collection. A must visit for history buffs. Open everydy till 5 PM.

Nice place for weekend visit. We went there couple of weeks ago. Art gallery was well decorated. Wall was decorated by old movies and theater poster. Inside the hall u can see different kind of antique decor items like type writting machine etc.
