It's a part of the Kodungallur Sreekurumba Bhagavathi temple and the parking ground is adjacent to the south side of the temple and the south part is called as south nada of the temple. This parking is meant for the devotees coming to the temple alot of devotees were visiting the temple from faraway locations and from other states is India like Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Andhra etc and during Sabarimala season alot pilgrims are coming here and this ground will be very useful for them to park their vehicles
