very peaceful and pleasant property I would say...well maintained.. the host Adil 8s very helpful and always go that extra mile to help his guests.. if any body is looking for a houseboat stay should definitely try this out and you would not regret. also the market is five minutes walk if you need anything like daily necessities and food, although they also have inhouse food facilities. the boat is facing the beautiful and serene lake and attached to land from other side with a nice wooden bridge leading to a garden with beautiful flowers. i liked my stay here.. and would definitely recommend to someone who want calm and comfortable stay...unlike buzzy and chaotic dal lake.

The location is perfect, amid the nature without any disturbance- Nigeen lake is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful stay and this property is right there. We had issue with food, but we could order it online- so all well

Peaceful stay! Definitely recommed this property if you are planning to stay 2 days or more in srinagar.(stay one day at dal lake too) Location is away from the main hustle bustle of the city. Host is very helpful and humble. We are very thankful to him for helping us when we were stuck returning from sonmarg. He even kept our luggage for a day. A happy guest here!

The houseboat is nice but we found the owner (elderly man) very rude. Service is worst. The view is not so great as the nigeen lake is not well maintained. The bedsheets and blankets were stinking. The towels in washrooms were not washed for days it seemed. I think houseboats in Dal lake are more happening. We had a very sad and boring feeling throughout our stay. So book a houseboat in Dal lake only.

Wonderful environment of Nigeen Lake. The houseboat is surrounded by Lily, Lotus & Chinar garden. The waterfowl movements will surely give another view of Kashmir.
