It's a open park in the community. Children play here everyday. It is a wide field and accessable easily. There is a temple beside the park. People use it for morning and evening walk. It is a quite place and does not have heavy traffic. As it is surrounded by local homes, it is very safe to play on the ground.

It is basically a residential place, well connected to the communication points... Yet very much cosy and quiet.... Neighbouring a church, a temple,a nearby masjid...it has added an extra peacefulness to this area...this place has a large playground too....neighbours are nice and helpful to each other
Khirod Park, as it's locally called, is a playground which has lost much of its grass in the last decade, thanks to lack of maintenance and contractors using it as a dumping ground when they demolish nearby houses to convert them to apartments. Irrespective of absence of grass on the play ground, khirod park is still a haven for kids pf various ages who play here and for people who're health conscious and need a place for morning and evening walks. The main road, Kashinath Datta Road, is about 2 minutes away, so commuting is easy. In all, this isn't the beauteous jogger's park that's shown in movies. Its a basic field which was named park probably because of the grass on it. But children and adults like the place because they can play on it or walk around it.
