We stayed at Khan Manzil on and off for three weeks in the summertime. It was so homely. The guest house is clean, rooms are spacious and location is central with all Leh areas within a short walk.
We based ourselves while acclimatising and between our excursions through Ladakh.
We stayed in an ensuite room. We couldn't be made feel any more welcome. Highly recommended. All staff were really helpful and courteous to us. We were sad to leave this wonderful part of India and this homestay in particular.
The owner is respectful, friendly, kind and helpful. He surprised us with a parting gift of a katak which was so generous.

Very nice place. Felt like home. The property owner Khan was very helpful and caring too. He cooked some special food for me as the chef was on leave. Room tariff is very pocket friendly. The main market, Leh Palace etc are just 3-4 min walk from this hotel. From roof took one will get a great view of the snow clad mountains and the valleys.
Very nice host and decent price for the quality. It's cheap so there are some issues like bad wifi quality and no hot water in the shower. Maybe other rooms have better quality.

This place has great rooms, with a great view from the balcony. The staff is very friendly and good. Makes you feel like home. Comfortable accommodation at affordable cost. Best thing about it is it is right in the middle of the market. Parking space is a problem though. Had a memorable stay there.
