Heaven for non vegetarians. A lot better than Ambur Star Biriyani. Must try Mutton Biryani, Bheja Fry, Mutton chukka, liver & Idiyappam. As usual prices are extra in the AC dining but the quantity is also more. Food with less masala & oil. Tummy full yummy food for 5 in AC dining costed us 3K (November 2023).

Stopped here for a biriyani while going to Yelagiri. This place is quite okay and restaurant looks okayish, probably in this town, this is one of the good places to eat. But not sure if its worth of 4 or 5 star rating. The food was also normal and not really great. The people were kind and courteous. Falooda was good.

Had ordered Chicken Biriyani, Tandoori chicken, Chappathis, Paya and Payasam. I would say the taste wasnt exceptional as mentioned in some of the reviews. They are good. The Chappathis were big and soft. The paya was okayish. Tandoori chicken was good. It was evenly cooked and the pieces were soft ad well. The payasam was okayish too. The ambience looked as if the interiors and the furnishings were done recently. They look good. You may have to climb stairs to get to the first floor as the ground floor looks very crowded often. The car parking is very tough to find during peak hours. The cleanliness is okayish. Overall, if you are hungry and dont have an option in Vaniyambadi, you can try out Khaja.

I reached out to this restaurant to have Mutton biriyani after 2007, now 2022. Taste was good Earl then now comparatively. However tried chicken biriyani and mutton biriyani, it was not that great, you can try for at times when you cross Vaniyambadi. Raitha served for biriyani is neat but the brinji gravy was smokey not good today. They have idiyappam, paya, goat brain, thala curry, chapati, Roti(maida) we can try these as per the need of taste bud. Nearby this restaurant, Ahmedia Sweets(Pay thro only cash) offers us sweet savouries which are different, I tried Dumroot and Paneer jamoon after biriyani, got a good treat for myself. Pros: Customer service. Cons: They prefer cash then cc payment may be due to tax implications. If you wana try wash room after a long travel, be careful not to catch UTI from the bathroom.
