Kempty Falls - Tourist attraction in Mussoorie, Ram Gaon - Dehradun, India

Too good...however I went in mid November and temp was around 15 degree, it was not a peak time to visit but we enjoyed it to the fullest as it was not crowded... you can enjoy the other adventure rides like zip line ,rope cycling, rope climbing, boating...etc

Amazing place and a must to visit. Please take extra pair of clothes if you are travelling so that you can enjoy bathing under waterfall. Dresses are available on rent also.If you are a shopping lover person no need to worry. But you have to walk a long distance. It definitely tests your stamina. There are play available for children. Boating, swimming available for adults and children. Its a must visit place.

Very beautiful waterfall. And a huge walkway market where they sell tourist attractions and tea shops around. But the place is not maintained at all, people spit everywhere and dumped waste. And you will see rope way to the fall. It's a very small rope way costs you .Rs.200 for one way. And won't accept online payments. May better walk to to the waterfall while going and return come in rope way.

It is a Natural waterfall famous for its beauty. The kempty waterfall is an old tourist destination. There is a small pool where you can enjoy the fall and swim. There are a lot of shops near by where you can take swim wears on rent, put things in locker, have a maggi and tea. There are also chargeable changing rooms.

I really enjoyed the fall. Water was extreme cold. Locker facilities were available over there and it costs 50 rupees. Otherwise no entry ticket to visit kempty fall.

At a height of 4500 ft surrounded by the valleys of Mussoorie, Kempty Falls in Mussoorie (Uttarakhand) is a wonderful waterfall and one of the best places for rejuvenation in the green valley.Kempty Falls is a waterfall in Ram Gaon and at the south of Kempty, in the Tehri Garhwal District of Uttarakhand, India. It is 13 kilometres from Mussoorie on the Chakrata Road, and 45 kilometres from Dehradun.

It's beautiful when you get there. However, getting there is not easy. Traffic, difficult walking, Also ropeway is available. Ropeway price: 200/- per ticket lockers and spare clothes are available so that you could go in the fall enjoy and get wet and then come back and change, avaliable at 50 to 100 rs. So, whenever you visit keep 3-4 hours in total to be able to get here and enjoy. There is food and everything. And when you get here, Food stalls and cafes are also available in case you are hungry.

Firstly, I will tell you that you should go to this place. The drive through the edge-cutting mountains will be breathtaking. Now, it was a descent waterfall and one more thing don't go to way down the as there will be hurdle of crowd. Instead go the upper side of the waterfall where you will hardly find people and it will be hell of enjoyment there. The water was too cold (chill). Also you will encounter various types of shops with artificial as well as handcrafted items besides small food stalls. One more thing you will have to pay a small amount of money for you vehicle as parking.
