Excellent location for bird watchers & photographers. At this time of year many migratory birds arrive & a photographers delight. Been to the other end of Lake which is less disturbed by people & birds freely arrive for breeding. Feel bad to see plastic n other waste material litter around and birds have no option but to breed nearby. Sad.....

Any bird lovers in Dharwad??? This is the place. More than 50 types of birds have their habitats here. Just a walk on the pathway will give all the peace you are looking for.

The cleanliness definitely needs work but that does not undermine the fact at all , that this place is gorgeous. The scenic beauty calms your mind to the core and nothing is better than a beautifully coloured orange sunset to help you feel good
