Kayees - Indian restaurant in Ernakulam - Ernakulam, India

Hailing from malabar, I dont think this hotel is worth the hype. The biriyani is just OK. Not that much tasty. The pieces are fried. Rice is basmati like long rice which I personally dont prefer for Biryani. The spices are less, and the quantity is more than enough. For the price you pay for Chicken Biryani, I wont recommend it. The ambience is good. Usually its a crowded place due to the hype (which I dont think is needed). The service is fast and efficient. Staffs are polite. One suggestion for the guy at reception is to keep a smiling face while dealing with the customer.

Biriyani had a good flavour and meat pieces were also good but i think rice was not sufficient enough. Salad and lime pickle was also good. Overall cost is little bit high... Yeh give it a try. Restaurant maintains good cleanliness.

Would definitely recommend the mutton biriyani here .. simply amazing.. rich spice flavour and the mutton pieces were of good portions and cooked perfectly.. so far the best mutton biriyani that I have had in Kochi!! Chicken biriyani is decent as well both the biriyanis had a different flavour to it Biriyani is served with dates and lemon pickle along with tomato onion salad

The Chicken biryani was Sub par, Malabar biryani with Basmati rice was not pleasant at all, the flavour was also bland, would not recommend the biryani here, as for the meals, it was okay, the service was quick enough, there is some waiting to get a table, the dining area and the handwashing area are clean. Parking sitch is problematic during rush hours.

The main dish in this restaurant is chicken biryani, good not bad food items, friendly parking area for cars and bikes, very crowded at least waiting time 20 minutes for seats, moderate rate for food items

Quick decision to turn towards Kayees. Chicken Biriyani was delicious. I thought Rahumaniya was better but unfortunately not. Kayees is the king! Experience is based on Chicken Biriyani! Also Lemon tea was heavily. I will go back for sure!

I had ordered a chicken 65 from this place for which I paid Rs 250/- plus taxes and please refer to the picture to see what I received. The plate am holding is my palm size and that's all was the quantity I received. Taste was quite good no doubt, but quantity is too poor for the price. Very disappointed. I was expecting better experience from a popular place like this. I would call it an overhyped place.

I had my lunch from there. Ordered chicken biriyani.. It was nice.. Nice quality.. Not looks like modern hotels.. But like an old building.. Clean atmosphere.. They charged 190/- rupees for chicken biriyani.. Eventhough it has quality, but they could reduce the amount to 170/- atleast
