A must walk for nature's lover. Even if you are a laid person, you'll find it refreshing to walk through the dense forest full of deodar trees. So rich in flora that you'll be admiring your trail throughout. There are 3 trails to the forest. If you happen to choose 1st and come back via 2nd that's very quick one just 1 km long. But if you wish to spend some time, better to go via 3rd trail and go till the top from where you can clearly see the Himalayan range if the weather is clear. That's a quiet walk in the forest. So if you love peace and serenity, you are going to just love it.
Kaudia Forest is nice picnic spot and popular for hiking in Kanatal. A level walk of 6 kms will show dense forests opening into a vast expanse of undulating hills and valleys.
Awsome jeep safari track and really scenic views of jungle and the valley and the pine forest and devdaar forest and the whole jungle. Bhaironath mandir. 2200 rupees you pay for a jipsy which seats 7 people easily. Its a nice place to go with family. Cycling track is also available. It's a jeep track of 36 km. You can easily spot lots of different varieties of birds.
Excellent place to chill with nature vibes.
One of the serene places in our Tehri Garhwal
Kaudiya Forest is a beautiful place, there are lots of Pine trees . I was on solo trip and Enjoyed my vacation. This is place only for purely nature lovers and i would says must visit for every nature lover. I didn't find any animals here but different kinds of birds are available here . It's dense Forest . Hope you would enjoy here.
Amazing Trail for trekking ~ 16 Kms a side. Best covered in early mornings. Must take: Adequate water bottle (please do not litter and spoil the natural serene beauty of the forest) and something to munch. Nearest spot is about 5-6 kms with mesmerising 360* view. If you are lucky enough, dear sighting is possible. All the best guys. Don't burn the fuel, get going on foot.
Great place to be, it's a dense forest and has a great diversity of trees all across the forest. It also has camping facility and you get to see the Apple farms as well. You can either go for safari or cycling or even walking. It is totally your choice. Cycling and walking tracks are different from the one which is meant for Safari on a Gypsy, fixed cost 2200 INR
Visited in mid-December. What a charming old forest with abundance of deodar and well laid out trails. Spent entire day here exploring 20+ kms. of the forest, and went up to Walkha temple too.
Himalaya was unfortunately hiding that day but witnessed it the next morning! Beautiful sunset and sunrise for few point inside the forest. Sharing some phone photos. Yet to go through camera pictures!
Big Con: LITTERING. It's the curse of this nation, and tourist and locals contribute alike. The so called "trekking groups" have made it worse.
