This branch of Kasturi is situated near Barrackpore Railway station & Chiria more. It's situated at second floor. It has a seating capacity of 30-35 persons. Food is quality wise very good specially Kochupata chingri & Vetki paturi. Only lacuna of the restaurant is that service is very much slow here. When I have visited here Only one staff is took the order, served the order for all the tables!!!!!
Food was really good. Quantity is less compared to the price. Service really needs an improvement. There is shortage of staff. Overall food is good but management is not good. If you have time in your hands then one can go.
I had visited Barrackpore ' Kasturi ' in 2019 & things have changed drastically in 2023 ( visited 17.04.23 ). Food quality has dropped a bit as well as the availability. A lots of dishes are there in menu cards but not actually available. Services has also dropped , initially the service was good but the same picture repeats here. Few things are exceptional here but that is not enough to overcome these black spots.
Vegeterian people never visit this restaurant. You can check on Zomato, they're selling non veg item in veg section , and before some days I visit with my family as I am vegetarian I ordered Veg Dishes , Dhoka Dalna , Paneer ( forget the name of the dish) , We've found chicken inside dhoka (pura dhoka de diya ) and Fish's bone in paneer dish .
Considering the price, neither the ambience not the quality and quantity of food is justified. Food quality is average and quantity is too small.
Only good thing about this is the food quality. Everything else as a restaurant is not good. Food quantity Staff behaviour atmosphere Price is comparatively high. . There are far better restaurants nearby...

It was a quiet,good ambient, and the food quality was good enough according to the price. There was a small seating arrangement with ac . You can also take away from outside. Really an affordable cafe.
