Karnataka University, Dharwad. I can explain it only in one word " Its a Heaven of Education ". A dream college of many students. Its a college surrounded with a very beautiful and a very peaceful greeny garden everywhere and such a wonderful campus. It's a pride and heritage building / campus situated in Dharwad. One of a most most beautiful campus and a very lovely Architecture of the building " Vidya Soudha ".

It was once regarded as very reputed with eminent personalities but now suffering from political appointments and heavy corruption. Infrastructure is poor especially the hostels and the academic, publication and research standards have come down drastically.

Beautiful place, great for your morning and evening walks. The fresh air, the scenic gardens and the friendly people make it worth the walk. And they have a the best food in canteen. Freshly made, safe, clean and authentic food! A new addition to the canteen, they have made it wheelchair friendly, accessible to everyone.

Karnatak University is a public state university in Dharwad district of Karnataka state, India. The university is recognized by University Grants Commission and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). As of 2014, the university has been awarded 'Grade A' by the NAAC The Bombay legislature of the erstwhile Bombay Presidency established Karnatak University through the Karnatak University Act 1949. It became a statutory University on 1 March 1950 Karnatak University is spread over 888 acres with faculties of Arts, Commerce, Education, Law, Management, Science and Technology and Social Sciences. The university has over 47 Postgraduate Departments, 224 faculty staff and 4500 students and offers over 42 Doctoral programmes.

I totally loved the green campus, the peaceful environment makes you want to learn more regarding academically. It also has a mountain biking facility on campus.

One of the best and second oldest University in the Karnataka. It was established in 1949, University offers PG & PH.d courses. I joined Department of English in the year of 2016.i learnt lot mad enjoyed my two year course n got some best friends circle. This university has it's own name in educational institution and gives more facilities like good hostel, 24x7 library,play ground (both outdoor and indoor games)Green garden, health care, transport,hotel with knowledge.

In simple word i can say it's a heritage pride of Karnataka. The gateway for so many students who kick started their career from this university and so many great leaders are alumni of KUD i happy to say that I'm also an alumni of KUD
