It was a very pleasing experience while dining in this place. We had booked the sitting area I think it's called a 'Majlis'. The food was amazing especially the Rann Biryani which is booked in advance as well. Other than the food, the sitting area was cozy and felt like home. The staff was very kind and polite as well. I would say that this place is the best place in Srinagar if you're planning on having North Indian food. Definitely would recommend this place.

The food quality is not up to mark. The preparation is quite ordinary. Not to speak of food quality being as good as any of Delhi Karim's , it is not even near to that. It just has Karim franchise name & nothing more. Better to eat at some local food restaurant. The kheer was having raw rice in it & one of our kids suffered stomach acha & lot of oil & salt in chicken biryani. I would never in my life go again to this place
Ordered Nihari but not that much tasty I found at Karim's Delhi, shahi tukda was somehow good. And rumali roti was like 1 day old.
The place has a good ambience for a family dine in. Nihari was well cooked and tastes as it should. Keema naan was out of this world. Shahi Tukda was somewhat different to what I had outside kashmir but it was delicious. Overall a very pleasant experience.
I recently dined at Kareem's and while the food quality was commendable, I found that excessive use of pepper in dishes like biryani, nihari, and kebabs overshadowed the flavors. It would be great if they could maintain a more balanced approach to seasoning, allowing the natural essence of the dishes to shine through. Despite the overall quality, the overwhelming presence of pepper was disappointing as it masked the authentic taste of the traditional dishes, leaving me with a somewhat less enjoyable dining experience.
