A peaceful forest area known for its biodiversity and natural beauty. The well-marked trails and scenic surroundings make it a great place for a picnic amidst nature.

Visited after around 20 years and honestly it was worth. We were around 20 persons. It was a lovely experience. The kids and even the adults enjoyed in the lap of nature. Well maintained lawns, fresh and clean air, clean washrooms, everything was just amazing. All tricity residents must make it a point to visit with family. November and December, February are the best months to visit according to me. Surely can be visited again.

Nice nature zone... do advance booking on chandigarh forest website.. log hut guest house is good but not open to public... you can bring ur food and enjoy picnic... small lake is there ... some trekking can be done...

It's also near the nepli forest. You can visit both place in one day. You can enjoy beauty of nature but no animals. Take your own vehicle ro see the loghut and park having small house . Take your own food. Before visiting take the permission. You can go through single link road 6-7 km long from Chandigarh.

The rest house is built amidst a forest and is ideal for a day picnic. The rest house itself is ok with manicured lawns and stuff but the surrounding forest with its small lakes is beautiful. Just walk around the jungle from the rest house gates and within a kilometre or so you will find at least three to four lakes and very good picnic spots close by.

A good place to escape the slow city life of the tricity. The place is well maintained, and if it isn't crowded enough can be a great place to meditate amongst nature. But alas, one might end up from a non-crowded city to a crowded jungle! Visit on weekdays, to avoid weekend crowds.
