Kannankurichi Lake View Park - Park in Kannankurichi, Salem - Salem, India

A beautiful lake, restored to its past glory, recently. You can spend your time alone or with your kids. This lake is situated at the backdrop of a mountain and looks very scenic. During November and December birds from different part of India and foreign countries flock here to lays eggs, hatch them and fly back during February or March. The lake is located at the heart of the city and is easily accessible. Entry is free. Come and spend time with the nature!

No Entry Fees. Have lots of trees, walking Trials, swing, places to sit and Relax facing the lake side...Pan Fried Fish is there and At afternoon a person is selling Coffee/ Tea...Some persons are doing fishing there... The Sceneries are simply Amazing... Overall worth to spend the Time...

The park is present inbetween yercaud and the city. The park has some play time for kids and they can spend time here with nature. Fishing is done here as a hobby in this lake. There are some arrangements done for having a Good view of lake. This is a sponsored lake from golden gates and emerald valley. Basic facilities are not available.No toilet facilities, No security services and No parking lot for cars and bikes. The lake is shallow so we can view the fishes from the top. The lake is very dirty and not maintained at all. Steps to taken to maintain the lake.

Abode of peace! in the outskirts of the city. The lake acts as a natural catchment area, which holds water that descends from hilly regions of yercaud. Note: No commercial boating & food shops there.

Very Good place... Time we can spend on fresh air... Everyone should go and visit atleast once. Clean and tidy place... Only Drawback is They used to catch fish and clean there itself, it's stings after a day ...
