Went to Dhanaulti and stayed for 2 days in Sunrise Resort on Mussoorie-Chamba Highway 707A. People suggested staying at Kanatal, which was around 10kms from Dhanaulti. On arrival, we found that the place was very quiet and all the hotels,resorts and homestays were empty and there were no tourists. As it is off-season, most of the hotels were very shabby and stinking. But the views were excellent surrounding apple orchards without the produce as need good amount of snowfall to grow. We aborted our plan and headed for Dehradun instead.
Place and Ambiance was good we enjoyed the location alot, camp was okay but geizer was not working.. Food is not good me and my friends not liked the food quality and taste... You guys can work on food quality your location is Awesome....

We sat here to enjoy the sunset. It was a pleasant experience the original sunset point was 200 to 300m above but we took a halt at this camp and the camp caretaker was kind enough to allow us to sit on their porch and enjoy the view.
Excellent food - Pahadi dal, mixed veg, fried chicken, chicken masala, butter rotis. You can call in advance and tell the chef what you would like to eat. He prepares all the food fresh and serves it steaming hot.
