Kakolat Falls - Waterfall in Ektara - Nawada, India

Heaven for fun Surrounded by nature After having natural shower you'll feel the freshness of nature. Highly recommended The waterfall is located on a hill surrounded by forest. The environment is very beautiful. The water is coming down from the top.The little dots are awakening the freshness in the mind. And creating a beautiful rainbow those water droplets. Good place to spend time with family. Nice way to reach waterfall via staircase. You can hear the sound of waterfall all your way. So beautiful and Amazing place , you gonna love it. Must visit..... nature lover will surely enjoy the trip.

Fall is too good but there is too much crowd i take a room(4 diwari tha bas no light nothing) for changing clothes and little disappointed from filth

It's really unfortunate to see such a beautiful place in this condition. Pool was full of empty shampoo pouches and no sight of administration to stop people from using shampoo and soaps inside the pool. Due to plastic waste, chicken bones and thermocol plates, the place is polluted and not worth a visit anymore if you are going with family or love cleanliness. You will regret it after going to this place. Looting people in the name of parking (Rs 50 for 4 wheeler). It's better if the administration keeps an entry fee or charge heavy fines for littering the place. Otherwise this place won't survive after 10-15 yrs One star is just for natural beauty

If you are a local, this might be a picnic spot to enjoy. But if you are a tourist/outsider, my advise just DONOT visit. My reason for not liking the place is the crowd and filth. Read some online reviews that this is awsome, must visit place, I found them inflated and over hyped. A single lane, patchy 25 kms road from the main Patna Ranchi highway takes you to the spot. The route and the area is definitely not safe for outsiders. The destination itself is very disappointing. Pay 50 bucks and search for a plane patch of land to park. Climb some 1000 step to reach a small water stream falling from some 100 foot rock. The pond is quite small, over crowded and not clean. Visitors from nearby take dip, cook their own chicken and rice and enjoy. Fire wood, raw food items and utensils are available on rent. Before reaching the spot we had plans to take a dip, chill, spend some time there, but hardly spent 2 min at the fall.

It was really awesome memories. We have ride of approx 400 km and reached kakolat waterfall and due to some route we are thinking may be it was worst place and worth it or not to wasting the whole day but at the end i loved it. Due to winter season there are few people but I loved and also taken bath in waterfall and full of masti with friends

Kakolat waterfall located in the Nawada district of Bihar. Below the waterfalls are a cover of lush greenery on the hill surrounded valley. This place is best to be visited after monsoon and then right after the strong winters are gone. The immense natural beauty of this place makes it a huge favourite of nature lovers. You can also do bird watching here especially during the colder season when migratory birds come here.

It should be more better ,this natural beauty is located far from city nawada in lap of nature ,but due to mismanagement of #BIHARTOUSRISM it lost its charm ,u got a lot of problems to change ur cloth after bath specially girls and ladies ,no police man there to manage if any thing mishappend ,water (pond where water fall ) is very dirty and people use shampoo and bathing elements which make it worse to take bath. But when it came to natural beauty u love it kakolat fall is small but good with amount of water it dispense ,water is clod and full of mineral and view from top And lastly manage ur food or u can go to local vendors to prepare food according to ur need ....

During the summer months, travelers will see a very weak waterfall and the bare rock behind it. However, from December until April, the power of this waterfall is noticeable and will blow your mind! This is the most melodic waterfall. I think it might be true! KAKOLAT WATERFALL is a natural wonder that can't be compared to any other waterfall. @ Only for local.... People
