Kailas Family Restaurant - Biryani restaurant in Vagamon - Idukki, India

Food just ok We ate lunch and dinner from there. Lunch biriyani, is not so good. Because they added some ingredient. Because of that biriyani is not so good. Chicken pieces are not so well cooked. Night time we ate ghee rice, chapati, porotta and chicken curry. It's good not so bad as expected Not so spicy but tasty.

I never seen this kind of bad service in my life. We went to have lunch Today with my 4 yeas old baby. After we reach there one group of people came there for lunch. They totally ignored us and only take care of the Group. At last one person came to take the order and after taken order he just simply left. We wait there for more than 20 min. No food we get. Inform the matter to the front desk. The lady just totally ignored us.. Pls don't go to the restaurant.. they give zero value to the customers...

I recently had breakfast at this hotel during my travels, and while it wasn't the most amazing meal I've had, it was decent. The food was okay, and the service was acceptable. It provided a quick and convenient option to start my day, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. If you're in a pinch or need a basic breakfast, this place might suffice, but don't expect anything extraordinary.

Do not depend this hotel for food. Food we ordered: Porotta Biriyani Beef roast Meals Egg curry All items are bad in taste, not good. My daughter not had anything from here because of bad taste

It is in the centre of Vagaimon. The restaurant is aligned to Kerala food habits. We are vegetarian. It was good. Our kids were looking for Tamilnadu varieties. They made special Oothappam, though they are not having it on their menu. Service was good. It's pretty decent and the normal price. Chapathi is machine made and not good. It's not the only restaurant, most restaurants in Vagaimon are providing machine made chapathi only.:(

Great Kerala style non vegetarian lunch there. I had chicken biryani and beef fry. Lots of other dishes to tro when in Vagamon. Its located right in the town on the main road.

Seems to be tasty food. Tea is well prepared here. There is rather few clean toilets, spacious tables to be occupied by 10s and 4s. I did not find tables specially for couoles and singles. Cost of the resturant items are economical. I did not use their rooms but for food and settings I give the 4 stars.

In rainy mansoon season We had porotta,chilli chicken and tea. I was an average food.. the tea tooks and tastes like pal vellam. Chilli chicken is in watery consistency. Totally disappointed by the food
