Large and beautiful campus. One of the best engineering colleges in Assam. Classrooms look a bit old but the facilities provided in the college is really good. Went to see Phoenix and found the students to be really helpful and cooperative. The college is at the outskirts of town but the regular tempo service from the gate provides seamless connectivity. Good variety of shops outside the college caters every students' needs.

Academic sizes are excellent .This college is best for Computer departments.

With BE branches electrical mechanical computer science civil and instrumentation engineering.it has 9 boys hostel with. 1 girls hostel. U have to entrance test to take admission to this college. Most importantly it has free bus service...

Nice place .. I study here . I am in hostel 2. It's awesome . If you talk about recommendation then I will definitely recommend jec over aec for cse especially. I will be glad you come to hostel 2. It's the oldest hostel of jec.

Jorhat Engineering College founded in 1960 by the government of Assam, is the second government engineering college in Assam, northeast India. The college, affiliated with Assam Science and Technology University, is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education. It has five four-year undergraduate programs: civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, instrumentation and mechanical engineering.
