Jogigundi Falls - Tourist attraction in Agumbe - Shivamogga, India

Jogigundi waterfalls Such a cool place to visit We visited during monsoon and the waterfall was heavy 20minz walk from parking ..!! Normal trek only (easy) Leeches were there so be prepared for it Carry drinking water and food along with u Entry fee is 100 per person and for a car it's 30rs Must visit place Most recommended.

Very good falls..small one but has good flowing water. The trek to the falls is also an easy one ... You can enjoy the water body in pure Nature. There is a small boxed counter like the pan shop at the entrance of the road that leads to the falls. You will have to buy the ticket there. This is also the entrance to barkana trek and view point. So you buy the tickets for that as well in case you plan for the trek.

I'm exited to share 1. One of the beautiful places to visit near Udupi/manipal. 2. You can take beautiful photos and videos at this wonderful waterfall. 3. Before going to this place please have your food and take some snacks, as you can't find food nearby. 4. Visit during medium rainy days so that you can swim enjoy. 5. Be careful with leeches. 6. While visiting jogigunda waterfalls don't forget to cover barkana falls, barkana viewpoint and agumbe viewpoint.

I liked the Place & Atmosphere. I was unable to step into the water because of the heavy flow. Before going to this place I've read in someone's review that there are Cobra's & be careful. But there were many Leech & me & my four friends also attacked with Leech Multiple places in our Body. Better not to visit with Children.

It's completely feel is Bali, jogigundi falls with crystal clear water flows through the rocks. To reach jogigundi is quite difficult as trial is to small. As agumbe know for different kinds of frogs and snakes. Carry some stick and keep making the sound and trek for 1.2 kms from the entry point. If the water flow is more don't try to swim there. At the being needs to take ticket from the forest checkpost. Same ticket is issued for both jogigundi barkana falls. For Indians Adult 100rs Children 50rs Foreigners 400rs Wort in paying 100rs for 2 places, the views. Need to park the vehical at the gate or road side if gate is not opened,

The waterfall looks amazing! Initially you've to pay 100 rupees as the entry fees and then you have to walk for around 1kms to reach the falls The water was too much and swimming is not recommended (depending on the water flow) Over-all a nice view to sooth your eyes!

One of the worst falls I ever visited, 200 entry fees with zero fun u can't get down in to the water bcz it's very deep and strictly prohibited and it's not falls more like pond

Must visit this place during rainy season. Very small water falls. Almost one kilometre walk in forest is required to reach the falls. At the entrance forest guards will give tickets to Joginagundi and Barkana falls. 100 rupee/person is charged as entry fee.
