Jagjit Restaurant - Vegetarian restaurant in New Delhi, Delhi - Central, India

Very average taste! I bought three different Sabzi's and dal makhni assuming that the taste would be authentic punjabi. The restaurant is quite an old one and run by sardars so I assumed that the taste would be only the best. Moreover the rush was unbeatable that further confirmed my belief. However, I was royally disappointed as the taste was anything but good. Even local road-side tapris make better food than this. Totally over rated. But yes, I must say the food is prepared fresh on order.

The food was not cheap by any standards and the quality is not worth the money you pay. I ordered a paneer tikka masala and i had to ask them if it was what i offered. It had 5 really thin pieces of paneer and is loaded with capsicum and onions. They shud just sell it as tikka masala with some paneer curry. The paneer parantha was also so average, given this place is in the midst of many Paneer selling shops i expected them to be generous with the filling but nope. I suggest try other places than this. Very disappointing. 120 for the paneer parantha, 200 for the paneer-less tikka masala and 60 for the missi parantha.

Awesome dhaba in heart of chandni chowk (fatehpuri area). It is one of the rare jewels that still makes Baingan Ka Bhartha whose taste is simply amazing. Must visit place to taste some good authentic food at a reasonable price

They provide really nice and tasty north Indian veg foods. Live preparation. It is very near to the fathepur masjid. The street is always busy, so can't find a place for parking. The mode of payment is only cash.

Very nice food at a very reasonable rate. Very courteous staff. Absolutely worth a visit especially if you are a total vegetarian like I am.

I got rotten food in 220rs, and they were not accepting their fault when claimed that the food is rotten. I bought 200rs special thali that contain paneer, daal makhani, mix veg, riata, salad, roti, papad. I ordered to pack this thali. They took 220rs total including parking charge. At home, I found that the food is badly rotten and smelling bad. Only Dal makhani was fine. I took the food and again went to the Jagit restaurant. There, they were not accepting that the food is rotten. Their cook whose name is Sandeep , he tasted the food and confirmed the food is actually rotten and smelling bad. After that, they were smiling at me and didn't pay me any refund. The registration number of this shop is 07AAAFJ2962J1ZB. I submitted my complain to FSSAI department. But I am strictly recommending the people who ar reading this message, to not visit this shop. They will give you bad quality food then they will smile and never pay any refund. Thannyou

Pertaining question that comes to my mind before you visit this restaurant is, have you got medical insurance cover? You possibly gonna need it once you leave this restaurant. Had Deluxe Plate in dinner. Shahi Paneer was overly sour, Mix Veg was Stale and rice had weird unpleasant flavor. Paneer used in the Shahi-Paneer was bland. Only Dal-Makhani on plate tasted satisfactory.

Pathetic experience. Open loot. The sardar ji on the counter is a fraud. He frequently misbehaves with customers.
